This family owned winery is an absolute must visit. Our guide Riccardo was knowledgable and passionate about the history and wine making process at his family's business (5th generation).

Disappointed
We arrived there at the agreed-upon time and had to wait another 20 minutes before starting our tasting.
The tour was interesting enough, too bad that at the end, before getting the wine, there was another endless wait because they had created some confusion with the other Valentine's Day tastings.
As for the platters, we had to ask twice before getting them because they had gotten confused with those too, and we received them without bread because they had run out…
A shame…

The experience with Nicolò at Sala del Torriano was, besides being instructive due to his expertise, splendid. The incredible day, even though it was winter, illuminated the fabulous countryside.
