It was a very beautiful experience. The location is modern but at the same time attentive to tradition in producing wines of the highest quality. Mr. Pietro is very kind, very passionate about his territory. The wine tasting, besides being excellent, makes you further appreciate the work done every day with love.

It was a nice and relaxed atmosphere. It was not in-depth or long-winded, but still informative. The food was really good! The prices for retail are too high, even if the shipping is free. €17 for a shipped jar of tomato sauce is too high.

Mr. Danilo welcomed us to Tenuta Mattei and immediately made us feel at ease with his frank and welcoming manner. The explanations were precise and the wines are a must-try. Absolutely unique and special flavors, the fruit of serious and passionate work. For those who want an authentic experience without a lot of frills and glitter, it is definitely suitable and recommended.

Once we arrived we were taken by jeep to the picnic spot, passing through the hectares of vineyards that cover the hill. Breathtaking landscape and a picnic to match, with 2 courses and a bottle of their wine. At the end of the lunch they took us for a tour of the family winery. Recommended!

As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the young woman who guided us throughout the entire experience. She was extremely kind and helpful, always ready to answer our questions with expertise and passion, making the tasting even more enjoyable. The young woman enthusiastically explained the production process, the history of the grape varieties, and the peculiarities of each wine, helping us to grasp nuances we would have otherwise missed. A particularly pleasant moment was the pairing of the wines with some local products: cheeses, cured meats, and homemade bread, which enhanced the flavors and aromas of the wines in an exceptional way. The service was impeccable, never intrusive but always attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to discover the true essence of Valpolicella.

It was a very pleasant afternoon. A beautiful walk through the rows of vines in the company of Elisa who explained a bit about the territory, how Le Fiole was born, it feels like being among friends. The tasting was much appreciated with typical local products and their wine as an accompaniment. We were a small group and this made everything seem very intimate, pleasant, private.
