Achillée is a family-driven project located in the heart of the Alsace wine route, initiated by Yves Dietrich in 1990. Starting with 4.5 hectares of vines, the estate has grown to 18.5 hectares of vines and 6 hectares of fruit trees. In 1999, the farm transitioned to organic agriculture and then to biodynamic in 2003. In 2016, Yves, along with his sons Jean and Pierre, established a bioclimatic winery built with larch wood and straw, embodying their commitment to sustainable winemaking.

TRADITION & QUALITY Passionate about travelling and and architecture, we have visited many family-owned wine cellars, some of them showing exceptional originality. All have a common aim : to democratise one of the most beautiful parts of French heritage : wine. We no longer want to use our winery solely as a work tool, but also as a place of exchange, where the story of wine is told through a familial and regional history. We are privileged guardians of a rich history and heritage. To this day we have created a place of sharing, where those passionate about wine or those less so, leave feeling enriched. We want to bring not only a cultural but also an emotional wealth to our visitors.

Discover Domaine BACHERT, located in Barr, a renowned wine capital in Bas-Rhin, on the famous Alsace Wine Route, halfway between Strasbourg and Colmar. Our vines benefit from an exceptional exposure to the sub-Vosges hills, at the foot of Mont Sainte Odile, which gives our wines unparalleled quality. On the edge of the commune of Heiligenstein, where more than 7 generations of Bachert winegrowers were born, Noelle now operates 8 hectares of organic farming. Among them, 2 hectares are dedicated to the prestigious Klevener de Heiligenstein, 2 hectares are reserved for the Grand Cru Kirchberg de Barr, and 4 hectares host Clos Feyel, allowing us to offer you a complete range of Alsace wines. We welcome you throughout the year. Reine or Noelle rise to pass on their passion to you. The tasting takes place in our rustic and friendly kitchen or under the arbor in the summer season. The vast majority of the vineyard located at the foot of the estate is freely accessible.

Domaine Schneider jean marc
(Winery in Bas-Rhin)

There is a spirit of family transmission in the Domaine Schneider. It was David's grandfather, the current winegrower, who created the estate in 1958. In the 1960s, he bought a house next to his vineyard and began working his land. At the time, Robert Schneider sold his wines in bulk: he was also a wine buyer for Alsatian merchants.  In a family of winegrowers, it was only natural that Jean-Marc, Robert's son, grew up and spent his childhood in the vineyards. He naturally took over the business and began major development work on the vineyard. He began by extending the size of the vineyard to the 11 hectares we know today. He continues by modernizing all the viticultural equipment used in the vineyards and in the cellar.
