5 We had an amazing time! (Michael)We loved the Arancini Cooking Class among the Vines at Tenuta Bastonaca, The class was fun. The learning was easy and enjoyable because of the great instructor, and the arancini was delicious. Wine tasting included a lovely walk in the vineyards and an interesting tour of the cellars. The wine was so good that we bought a case. They also make olive oil and jam and we got some of those items as well. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable and eager to answer questions. I would highly recommend this experience.

5 "Arancini Cooking Class among the Vines at Tenuta Bastonaca, winetasting and lunch" (Michael)What a wonderful time learning how to make Arancini both by hand and using molds. Our hostess was knowledgeable, friendly, easy going and patient! She was amazing ! While the arancini was cooking, she took us on a winery and vineyard tour which ended at a table setup for wine tasting and a tasting pairing of snacks and our arancini! The wines were all wonderful - we even ordered some to be shipped back home! Thanks again to our hostess for a fabulous time!

5 Nice experience (Jessica)We were welcomed by the owner of the winery and had a small tour of the vineyard where she explained how they harvest grapes and olives as Tenuta Bastonaca also do olive oil. We then had a lovely meal starting off with appetizers, ravioli, meat and dessert. All courses paired with wine from the Tenuta. The meals were very abundant and flavourful. All in all it was a very nice experience and we rate it a 10/10!

5 Fun class and delicious food and wine! (Janette)We did the Arancini cooking class with Silvana. She was such a welcoming and amazing instructor, we had so much fun. It was a class for just the 3 of us, and she made it so personal! We made 2 types of arancini, and while they were cooking, we were treated to a feast of cheeses, meats, olives, crostini, etc, along with 3 wines from the winery, then came our arancini. Everything was so delicious! We also took a little tour of the vines and winery with Giovanni, he was great! Wonderful way to spend the afternoon! Highly recommended!

4 Great lunch, tour was too short. (Larry)The lunch and wine tasting was a 5. The “tour” was only about 10 minutes long. We did not go out into the vineyard and given further information about the vines, growing season etc. We did not see the entire production area, just some stainless steel tanks and a few oak barrels. We are going to order some wine to be shipped as soon as the weather cools down here and in Arizona.

She showed us the estate and explained its history and then concluded with the tasting of 4 wines one better than the other. 5 A serene, gratifying, very pleasant day. Delicacies for the palate and excellent wine. (PIETRO)The goal of spending a serene and pleasant day was fully achieved. Upon arriving at the Estate, as a couple, we were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Silvana, who beautifully told the story of Bastonaca, conveying the culture and ideals that positively drive the Company forward every day. The flavor of the local foods, accompanied by the tasting of white and red wines, made us feel truly at ease. The visit to the vineyards and olive groves, as well as the cellars, positively impressed us with the order, cleanliness, and attention to detail. I will say no more, so as not to spoil the surprise for those who wish to visit the Bastonaca Estate. PIETRO & DANIELA.

4 Excellent (Sebastiano)Excellent experience, Mr. Giovanni is truly a delightful person, very knowledgeable and courteous. A tasting that is well worth the price, with excellently crafted wines, and delicious food. The Frappato was top-notch, with a perfect pairing with the various dishes brought out, from the scaccia, to the Ragusano DOP, to the garlic in oil (try it)

5 Unique experience, cozy location, knowledgeable staff, excellent food and wines (Francesco)We were guests at Tenuta Bastonaca on a Sunday in February. The weather was not on our side, being a windy and rainy day; nevertheless, and thanks to the expertise of Fabio (our guide and sommelier), the experience was unique and unexpected. It began with the customary visit to the cellar, where Fabio explained the origins, history, and current circumstances of the palmento, as well as giving us more technical information on the type of vineyards (present on-site and others located between Etna and Pantelleria). We were able to visit the old olive press and appreciate the explanation of the ancient techniques of harvesting and crushing the grapes. Never boring, but at a certain point we were starting to get hungry... The lunch was truly excellent, with an appetizer of typical local products, a first course, a second course, and the unmissable cannoli for dessert. Obviously Fabio, as the sommelier, accompanied us throughout the meal, serving us different wines for each course. All done with extreme professionalism, but never in a too formal way, promptly answering all our questions and giving us interesting information about the food and wine journey. The wines were all exceptional. We really appreciated the location, especially the room where we had lunch, cozy and with a handcrafted fireplace to warm the space. I highly recommend this experience and take this opportunity to thank the staff and the owner again.

5 A surprising tasting (Micol)Under the scorching August sun, we found ourselves in the middle of vineyards rich in history. Davide skillfully explained the farm's philosophy, based on the biological ecosystem of plants and animals. We tasted the wines in an ancient masseria from 1637, expertly restored. The first wine was a fruity white, called Grillo, which pairs well with appetizers. The second wine was a Frappato, pleasant on the palate. But the wines that most delighted the palate were the Cerasuolo di Vittoria and the Nero d’Avola. A must-do experience for wine lovers. Great professionalism from Davide and excellent quality of the wines.
