The unique terroir, with mixed clay soils on limestone and constant breezes from the Scirocco and Tramontana winds, provides the perfect conditions for cultivating native Sicilian grape varieties such as Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Nocera, and Nero d’Avola.
