Excellent wine!

A very pleasant experience. Novaia is a winery specialising in organic red wines. The tasting session was outside in the beautiful courtyard with great views. Complimentary cheese and bread were served too. Highly recommended!

Le esperte ci hanno spiegato con terminologia comprensibile le caratteristiche della produzione del loro vino coinvolgendoci e rendendo il tutto accattivante. Posto stupendo peccato per il tempo ventoso e coperto di nuvole, paesaggio comunque bellissimo.

Perfect experience with Azienda Agricola Novaia

We booked our wine tasting experience with Azienda Agricola Novaia and we felt like we were at home. We were a 8-people group and we also met 2 young women we spent also lunch with.
All descriptions were detailed and we have been able to better understand waht we were drinking.
Don't worry if you don't speak Italian, one of the crew members will explain with a perfect English.

Posto splendido immerso nel verde. Dopo aver visitato i vigneti e la cantina abbiamo degustato 6 buonissimi vini nel cortile panoramico. Personale molto gentile.

Esperienza molto piacevole, la persona che ci ha seguiti era molto preparata e cortese.
Consiglio particolarmente nella stagione primaverile, c'è una bellissima corte con vista sulla Valpolicella perfetta per la degustazione.
Consigliata in particolare nella stagione primaverile o autunnale

La Cantina, situata in un contesto a dir poco incantevole, che rispetta le antiche tradizioni di vinificazione con tecnologie moderne, la Famiglia Vaona propone dei D.O.C. ottimi, rispettando anche i consumatori per il prezzo, a dir poco... perfetto!

About Winery and Wines

The NOVAIA Organic Winery finds itself in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, on top of a soft and sunny hill, in one of the most suggestive areas of the Marano Valley, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, cherry trees, and ancient stone walls. In Marano, from the 19th century to the present, the Vaona Family cultivates their lands and passes down the ancient winemaking tradition of fine classic wines: Valpolicella, Ripasso, Recioto, and Amarone. Here, the hilly vineyards (250-400m a.s.l.) and the marly-calcareous soils, interspersed with volcanic and tuffaceous layers, with low fertility, enhance the native varieties Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Oseleta, Turchetta and Molinara. At Novaia the management is organic and eco-sustainable, for a healthy habitat rich in biodiversity, a fundamental heritage for Novaia's lands and wines: wines with authentic, sapid, mineral, structured, elegant aromas, with a great identity and a deep bond with the territory. Tours in the company's cellar and vineyards allow customers to learn not only about its wines, but also the delicate process of picking and harvesting grapes.
