Atmosfera incantevole, personale gentilissimo: la Signora Carla una persona speciale che ci ha illustrato con amore tutti i vari vini.
Piatti classici di degustazione semplici ma molto buoni.

Abbiamo degustato diverse etichette.
Il personale ha dimostrato professionalita e gentilezza nella presentazione dei vini e nel servizio.
La degustazione di prodotti tipici e' stata ricca ed eccezionale con prodotti di qualità in ottimo abbinamento.
Il palmento e' bellissimo.
Consigliamo assolutamente questa esperienza.

About Winery and Wines

With its three vineyards surrounding Etna, and a total of 72 hectares of land, Tenute Mannino di Plachi represents a reference for Etna wines. Today, Tenute Mannino di Plachi boasts three structures that offer exquisite wines, typical Sicilian products and excellent services: Tenuta del Gelso, Tenuta Le Sciarelle and Pietra Marina. Tenuta del Gelso, with its 65 hectares, is a flagship of the Sicilian citrus fruit tradition. Its orange groves, located where vines used to grow once, represent the other core business of Tenute Mannino di Plachi. From the blooming of the fragrant orange blossoms in April to the harvesting with the first winter cold, this corner of Sicily at the foot of Mount Etna represents the treasure chest of a valuable production: from clementines up to mandarins to different varieties of lemon, citron and grapefruit.

Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe, overlooks one of the most important agricultural areas of Sicily. Its slopes are the cornerstone of the viticultural activities in the province of Catania, thanks to its extremely fertile soil and rich vegetation. Etna DOC was the first DOC to be recognized on the island and among the first in Italy. The Etna DOC disciplinary includes whites, rosés, reds as well as sparkling wines.
