Casale storico molto suggestivo
Suggerirei di non far pagare la spedizione al di sopra di una certa spesa di vino perché si tratta di un particolare che può dar fastidio.

About Winery and Wines
Tenute Mannino di Plachi is a prestigious winery that stands as a symbol of excellence in the production of Etna wines, with three vineyards located around the majestic slopes of Mount Etna. Spanning a total of 72 hectares, the estate includes three distinct properties: Tenuta del Gelso, Tenuta Le Sciarelle, and Pietra Marina. Each of these locations offers not only exceptional wines but also a rich experience of Sicilian culture and tradition.
Tenuta del Gelso, the largest of the three with 65 hectares, is a proud testament to Sicily's citrus heritage, featuring expansive orange groves where vines once thrived. This area is celebrated for producing a variety of citrus fruits, including clementines, mandarins, lemons, citrons, and grapefruits. From the fragrant blooms of orange blossoms in April to the harvests during the winter chill, this region captures the essence of Sicilian agriculture. Visitors to Tenute Mannino di Plachi can immerse themselves in this unique blend of viticulture and citrus farming, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Etna.
The wines of Tenute Mannino di Plachi are deeply rooted in the fertile and volcanic soils of Mount Etna, Europe's highest active volcano. This unique terroir, characterized by its mineral-rich earth and diverse microclimates, is the foundation of the winery's viticultural success. The vineyards benefit from the volcanic soil’s exceptional fertility, which imparts a distinctive character to the grapes grown here.
Etna DOC, the first Denomination of Controlled Origin (DOC) recognized in Sicily and one of the earliest in Italy, is central to the winery's production. The DOC designation covers a range of wine styles, including whites, rosés, reds, and sparkling wines, each reflecting the unique terroir of Mount Etna. Tenute Mannino di Plachi’s wines embody the rich flavors and complexity that come from the volcanic soil, making them a true expression of this extraordinary land. Whether you are enjoying a crisp Etna Bianco, a vibrant Etna Rosato, or a robust Etna Rosso, each wine offers a taste of the history and terroir of Sicily's iconic volcano.
