Five Etna Contrade Wine Tasting at Graci Winery
Here is what's in store for you
Explore the diversity of Mount Etna’s volcanic landscape with a wine experience dedicated to the estate’s different contrade, each offering a unique expression of soil, altitude, and microclimate. This tasting at Graci Winery is designed for guests who want to better understand how Etna’s remarkable terroir shapes the character of each wine.
The experience begins with a guided visit to the winery’s 19th-century palmento, a traditional Sicilian winemaking structure that reflects the historic wine culture of the area. Guests will then enjoy a walk through the Feudo di Mezzo vineyards, learning about the volcanic soils, vineyard practices, and distinctive features of the Etna wine region.
The visit concludes with a technical tasting of 5 wines from the estate’s contrade. Each wine is presented as an individual expression of its origin, offering insight into how soil composition, altitude, exposure, and microclimate influence aromas, structure, and style. The tasting is accompanied by Graci’s estate-produced olive oil and artisanal bread.
