We, a group of 4 friends mid 20's, chose Il dosso di Archetti Luca for our first experience within Franciacorta and it did not disappoint. Our reservation was set at 14h and we paid for a sparkling wine tasting of 3 glasses with a plate of local specialities. We got welcomed by youngest among the wine makers, who was very friendly and spoke English. After a short introduction, he gave us all different shapes of wine glasses and our first glas of sparkling Franciacorta. The extra detail of the different wine glasses, which we shared among us, gave the whole wine tasting something extraordinary. Each taste of each glass gave us the opportunity to taste a new aspect of their wine (which was amazing btw). Due to a sudden hail storm and the fact that the wine was that good, we decided after our third glass of sparkling wine to extend our tasting to 8 glasses (now not only including sparkling but also red wine), which was happily supplied with another bord of local cheeses and cured meats. In the end, we were all merrily tasting wine until 16h, missing the hail storm all together, and ended up buying 12 bottles (also incl. their sweet wine and their amazing grappa). We will definitly go back as soon as possible for this amazing experience.

We were under the impression that we would be getting a tour of a small vineyard which would take about 2 hours. There is no longer a vineyard, just out houses of old winery equipment and a guest house. It was more of a wine tasting of the 4 bottles of Red wine that they used to produce. The gentleman was a very polite and sweet man, made us feel very welcome and was obviously very passionate about the wine. The total experience was no longer than an hour. We enjoyed the wine and bought 3 bottles
