Podere Marcampo is a truly wonderful place, in the valley near Volterra. My friends and I were welcomed by lush greenery and an incredible peace. The owner showed us the vineyards, explained her family's history and the methods they use for wine production. She then took us to the tasting room, which is a room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the valley, and offered us 6 wines. She was very kind and let us enjoy the view (and our chat) for as long as we wanted. It was a truly interesting experience.

A wonderful place to relax, learn many things and taste excellent wine... very kind and qualified staff, they make you feel at home and pampered... I highly recommend it to everyone.

During the first part of the tasting we visited their vineyard and the places where they produce the wines from harvest, to drying, to fermentation. Afterwards we moved to their terrace to taste 5 of the most famous Veneto wines (Barbagianni, Valpolicella, Superiore, Ripasso and Amarone) all accompanied by a generously sized platter of cured meats, cheeses and jams. Their strong point is definitely the stunning view from the terrace, which looks out over the Adige river and the hills, as well as the elegance and care that characterize the agriturismo's decor. The experience was also pleasant thanks to the girl who looked after us, who was very friendly and happy to have a little chat. We will definitely be back for lunch on a day trip.

Pleasant experience, very kind and knowledgeable staff, thorough explanations also with the support of videos, and a pleasant tasting of very good local products to accompany the glasses of wine, which were also excellent. Recommended.

I went with three of my friends, to celebrate the bachelorette party of one of them. Gennaro treated us very well, with kindness, and explained the provenance of the wines and the origins of the grotto well. We tasted 5 types of wines and they gave us a platter with some delicious things to accompany the wine. There was an incredible peace and quiet, we relaxed and had fun!!!

Mr. Sergio is an exquisite and highly knowledgeable person. Excellent tasting accompanied by explanations worthy of the wine they produce. Good quality/price ratio when purchasing the wine directly at the winery. The wines we tried were excellent.
