Top to bottom the best day of our Tuscan holiday. The truffle hunt with dogs Lola and Leah on the Tuscan hillside was an exhilarating if a bit of challenging walk back up the hill.; worth it to watch the the dogs happy in their successful endeavors to find truffles for us. Our guides were knowledgeable teaching us about the dog training process and the symbiotic relationship between the trees and the truffles. Our wine lunch was relaxed and delicious served by the 7th generation family members as they educated us on the wines as well as the dishes were enjoying - 4 courses! Seated in the yard we had view of not just the vineyard but the harvesting was in full swing. What a treat. We tasted the ripened grapes, watched tractor truckloads of grapes delivered to the equipment that separated the grapes from the stems. Amazing. Part of what made this experience great was the quality of the people hosting us. Lovely! Ordered lots of wine to be shipped home. Thank you.

From the moment we arrived, his kind, welcoming and entertaining attitude made the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Marco explained clearly and professionally how his wines are produced, giving us plenty of interesting information without getting too technical. It was fascinating to learn about the process while still keeping the tour accessible and enjoyable. The wine tasting was a real highlight, accompanied by some delicious snacks and bites that complemented the wines beautifully. His wines are full of flavour and character, and we enjoyed them so much that we ended up buying a couple of bottles of each variety! All in all, it was a very enjoyable and memorable experience. We would definitely recommend a visit to anyone who enjoys good wine, great hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you, Marco!
