It was a wonderful experience. I went with some friends, and honestly, it was one of the highlights of my trip to Tuscany. The tour and the experience were very intimate, there were ni more than 10 people, which really made it that much enjoyable. The wines were excellent and the food was plantiful and delicious as well. The setting is spectacular. I would 100% recommend it

Arrived early for the tasting but this was no problem to Rolf, the owner, who greeted us and adjusted his schedule to suit. We had the five wine, five home made tapas option pairing food flavours to the wines. Rolf presented each wine in a casual but informative way, his English is very good so he could answer any questions and discuss the wines with us. No tour was offered, just sitting on the patio under a canopy tasting five lovely wines - two each of white and red and a rose. It is a small winery producing 20-25,000 bottles a year. Other groups were present during our 3 hour visit but this was not a problem. The vineyard is about a 15 minute drive or taxi ride from Siracusa Ortigia, no public transport options as it is in the countryside.
