Fuocomuorto is always a treat!
We have visited this winery twice so far and it's always a lovely experience. The tour is short but so interesting with the history of the grotta. Incredible views from the vineyard. The seating area is lovely and shaded, the wines are wonderful and the accompanying aperitivo is delicious (meats, cheeses, artichokes, bruschetta, etc). The host speaks English quite well enough to manage the experience and booking online is very simple.

An excellent discovery in the Oltrepò Pavese
A wonderful experience to discover Tenuta Mazzolino and get to know the Oltrepò Pavese a little better, an area I was visiting for the first time. The visit was interesting and enjoyable, never too technical, and allowed us to better understand the Estate's work, from the vineyards to the splendid underground cellar, up to the final tasting.
I particularly appreciated the opportunity to see the differences between the soils up close and to discover how Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are processed, as well as the explanations on the Classic Method and the Estate's connection with French tradition.
The tasting was an excellent conclusion to the visit, accompanied by clear explanations accessible even to those who, like me, love wine but are not experts.
An experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to discover a little more about Oltrepò and its wines.

A truly wonderful experience that we would definitely do again!
We took a tour of about two hours, with a visit to the vineyard and the chance to get to know this wonderful reality, including the Cinta Senese breeding farm.
We loved everything so much: the tasting products were truly delicious and Giulia even had us try something outside of the planned tour, which we really appreciated.
Great wines, but the final passito accompanied by the pastries was the icing on the cake!
A pleasant, genuine experience made with so much passion.
