"To each hour its shadow"... not a simple phrase, but a poem, and poetry is said to be the synthesis of the soul. Here, in these few words, is the synthesis of the soul of this company, Roccat. We were welcomed by Manuel, the owner, and a familiar and relaxed atmosphere was created right away. Afterwards he invited us to visit the cellar and, after the tour and the first tastings, we settled into the adjacent room where we could taste the products he himself had selected for us: local cured meats and cheeses, excellent I would say, all accompanied by the sublime Prosecco of their production. Not to mention the ride aboard the seductive Campagnola. The green of the vineyards against the backdrop of a beautiful blue sky was a splendid painting to admire.

A very nice experience. Rodolfo and his brother are two exceptional and very knowledgeable people on the subject. The place is wonderful and welcoming, and the special touch of the sunset is the icing on the cake. I highly recommend trying this experience

After a trip up north, as a food and wine student, I absolutely had to visit the Langhe, even though unfortunately I only had a few hours available. The Langhe and Roero are incredible territories that did not disappoint me; on the contrary, they far exceeded my expectations. There were two of us on this visit: me, a simple food and wine student, and my boyfriend, who until then didn't particularly appreciate wine. I was so right to choose this winery: it's family-run, welcoming, and offers a full seven wines for tasting (including Barolo and Roero Arneis, not typical of the Dogliani area, but present thanks to the vineyards the winery also owns in other areas of the appellation). It's not common to find such a wide selection, accompanied by small canapés carefully designed to enhance the food-wine pairing. The tasting was simple but complete; the owners proved to be kind and helpful. The wines, pleasant and well-made, highlight the fruity component above all, more than the tertiary notes. A clear and coherent choice, which makes them truly pleasant: you will not be disappointed. In the end, it was my boyfriend who wanted to buy some bottles (and rightly so).

The place is enchanting, the visit to the Machiavelli house-museum is truly very interesting and the wine tasting with a gourmet lunch is the icing on the cake that beautifully concludes this experience that satisfies all the senses.

I found a courteous welcome and the wine and food tasting was a nice surprise, unfortunately shortly after arriving my husband had some health problems, therefore we couldn't enjoy it fully, we plan to repeat the experience at a better time. Thanks anyway for the hospitality.
