Great story, great winery
We were there on Easter Saturday to visit the Schiopetto winery, a great story of Italian entrepreneurship. Patrizio is a knowledgeable guide and he had us discover an unusual production method (which I won't spoil). A great experience. The wines are interesting and you taste them in the company's beautiful B&B.

Welcome at the winery resort
We were warmly welcomed by Guido who meticulously described the company's activities to us (it is a resort with some luxury apartments, available to rent for holidays) which produces different types of wine. He then accompanied us to the dining room where we tasted 4 excellent wines that paired well with the dishes they served us, alongside the in-house produced extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Exceptional Wines with A View
We (2 adults, 1 child) had a wonderful first visit to Perticaia! We visited on a beautiful April afternoon. The drive to the vineyard was breathtaking. We started with a tour of the property, its history, and thorough lesson on winemaking. We then tasted five extraordinary wines (1 white, 1 rose, 3 reds) and then received a bonus taste of an older vintage. I would recommend carving out a good amount (2-3 hours) of time to enjoy the wines. Definitely a highlight of our trip and can’t wait to return!

The explanations in the vineyard were very interesting, about the various types of grapes and the peach orchard with its various types of peaches.
