It was a pleasant experience, very good wine. The only two points are: I had booked the tasting in English as my boyfriend doesn't speak Italian and the gentleman didn't know a word of English, making the experience incomplete for my boyfriend. There wasn't even a big attempt to try to translate... Furthermore, the description says there are 5 glasses, instead there seemed to be 3. They did "offer" us other glasses anyway, but it seemed more like a favor. Very good salami and parmesan.

Tasting at Poggio Amorelli with Tommaso, who conveyed all his passion in detailing the production of the different wines. Spectacular wines, accompanied by cold cuts, bread and cheeses. Special oils and vinegars. We will definitely return, the place is enchanting and the staff is very kind and always helpful.

Guided tour with the good and knowledgeable Valentina, the beginning of the tour takes place directly in the underground cellar with a precise description of the winemaking methods, the vineyards, the soil and the aging method are described. The visit concludes with a tasting of wines paired with some exquisite cheeses.

I gifted this experience to my parents and they were very happy. They told me that the experience was truly fantastic and the staff and the owner are really nice and easy-going. They will surely do another one of these experiences because it has remained in their hearts!

For my German friend's birthday, we decided, together with her English husband, to give her a surprise. From Switzerland they came directly to Volterra. So our search fell within this area. Podere Marcampo struck us when we saw the website and then we had confirmation in person. Claudia, the owner, entertained us with stories about the origins of the farm and the characteristics of the territory and consequently about the choice of grape varieties to plant. A visit to the cellar followed, and a tasting of the wines accompanied by cured meats and cheeses. All in a family-like and cordial atmosphere. What can I say... excellent wines and many compliments to Claudia. Thanks for everything

My first tasting experience and I must say that I was very pleased. The tour of the cellars and the tasting were guided by a person who is competent and passionate about their work. The lunch was also excellent, with quality products and meats from the farm itself.
