Qualche giorno fa, durante una tappa a Siena, io e alcuni amici abbiamo deciso di prenotare una degustazione di vini tramite l'app Winedering (che usiamo spesso per cogliere l'occasione di fare degustazioni). CASTELLO DI SELVOLE risultava l'unica opzione disponibile, quindi abbiamo scelto questa struttura, ignari di cosa sarebbe poi accaduto. Premetto che siamo tutti trentenni con oltre 10 anni di esperienza nella ristorazione, avendo lavorato e viaggiato in vari Paesi, per cui ci aspettavamo che questa fosse un’esperienza utile anche professionalmente. Tuttavia, COSÌ NON È STATO. Appena entrati nel giardino, abbiamo incontrato altre due coppie che avrebbero partecipato alla stessa degustazione. Non c'era nessuno ad accoglierci, e abbiamo atteso circa 10 minuti prima di essere ricevuti. Amo la campagna, gli animali e i weekend rilassanti legati all'enogastronomia. Tuttavia, nel gruppo c’era una ragazza con una forte fobia dei cani. Incontrato il proprietario (estremamente SCORTESE), abbiamo chiesto gentilmente se poteva tenere i cani al guinzaglio o in un'area separata. La sua risposta è stata di abbandonare immediatamente la visita, affermando che non poteva accettare che qualcuno avesse tale paura. Dopo vari battibecchi, ci è stato negato il tour, sebbene già pagato. Fortunatamente, almeno siamo stati rimborsati. SCONSIGLIO FORTEMENTE QUESTA VISITA PER LA MALEDUCAZIONE E L'INCORRETTEZZA RISCONTRATA IN QUESTA CANTINA. VANTARSI DI AVERE UNA STRUTTURA COSÌ BELLA E NON ES

Excellent wines, great food, and beautiful winery tour by Silvana

We had lovely tour with Bodegas Virtus marketing manager, who spoke good english and was wery polite and interesting. We were quided thrue whole route how wine is made and recived good understanding about their market. They effort to keep the quality up is impressive. Tasting was perfect, well presented and tasteful :) Wery well spent 2h !

We spent really nice evening in Azienda Agricola Ceramida. It was the only winery in this area organizing the wine tasting in the first half of October, so we were unsure what experience we will get. Hosts provided us with all necessary information for our visit, everything was thought of. Interesting excursion, beautiful sights, amazing sunset, excellent wine and tasty snacks from local products. It was like meeting with old friends, And everything together created unforgettable experience. If we will be in this part of Calabria again we definitely will visit this winery again.

We enjoyed the tour of the winery, the tasting of the wine and cheese and the views from the patio. The Chianti Classico was our favourite!
