A visit to Cantina Matteo Rigoni is an experience for all the senses. There is natural beauty at every angle, and a peacefulness that is palpable.  once you come you'll want to return.  The house and current home of “Cantina Matteo Rigoni” was built in 1608 by Cleric Giovanni Porto, who was of a noble family from Vicenza, one who had many palaces and properties in Vicenza’s centre. It was immediately destined to host a congregation of Margheritoni monks who were inspired by the reformed teachings of the Venerable Antonio Pagani, a singular religious figure with a vocation for asceticism and hermitage as well as the foundation of minor orders. Matteo's family bought the property from the Porto family around the turn of the 19th century and has since then been the sole owner.   About 20 years ago Matteo took the steps toward realising a dream which would marry the passions and beliefs he holds true. He redesigned his grandfather's vineyard and added many more, and began to cultivate his organic grapes. The 3.5 hectars of vineyards are all visible from the house, up and along the hills that fall into a valley on Monte Caldiero. His art has been refining with the passing years, and now his natural wines ferment spontaneously in locally sourced, above-ground terracotta amphoras.  As art mimics life this project is an ever-growing homage to the vitality of the ground on which it lies. Matteo is always studying how things can be done in the best way, while keeping in mind his objective: to let the nature of the terroir come through, aging gracefully, until it is brought to the mouth of whomever has the pleasure to drink it.  See you soon!

Ca' Bruzzo is a family-run vineyard founded in 1985 by Aldo Bruzzo, who returned to his roots after a life abroad, leaving behind his engineering career to embark on a new journey in winemaking. Situated in the picturesque Colli Berici Hills of Vicenza Province, halfway between Venice and Verona, the vineyard spans five grape varieties across lush hillside vineyards. Now run by Aldo's son, Alan, the Bruzzo family carries on the tradition of hands-on winemaking, ensuring each bottle reflects the unique character of their land. At Ca' Bruzzo, we believe that the character of our wines begins in the field. Each vine is carefully hand-trimmed by the winemaker, with the goal of creating the best possible fruit each year. This hands-on care, combined with the eco-compatible farming methods and the unique microclimate of the Colli Berici Hills, results in wines that embody the distinct personality of this special terroir. Our red clay and limestone soil, paired with the windy conditions of the region, give our wines their rich, full-bodied character, with minimal use of irrigation, allowing the roots to grow deep and absorb the essence of the land.

Casa Cecchin was founded in 1978 by Renato Cecchin, an engineer with a passion for wine, who in those years bought a piece of land in the hills of Montebello Vicentino, surrounded by olive trees and fruit trees. Renato decided to grow Durella, a native variety of the Lessini Mountains that was disappearing because it produced sour and low-quality wines. He, however, strongly believed in the potential of this grape and in 1989 produced the first classic method sparkling wine from Durella grapes. In 1992 he invented a tool for remuage: a hexagonal basket that rotates 273 bottles by 1/6 of a turn in a single movement. He patented it and it became the official method for Casa Cecchin, as well as the symbol. Today the company is run by women, with his daughter Roberta and granddaughter Sara continuing the project that began in the 70s.
