Cantina Graci

Cantina Graci is located on the northern slope of Mount Etna, in Passopisciaro, an area with a centuries-old winemaking tradition. Our vineyards lie in the heart of the Alcantara Valley, across the contrade of Arcurìa, Feudo di Mezzo, and Barbabecchi, at altitudes ranging from 600 to 1,000 meters above sea level.

We cultivate exclusively indigenous Etna grape varieties, with deep respect for the land, its traditions, and the unique character of each vintage. Both in the vineyard and in the cellar, we keep interventions to an absolute minimum, believing that only by honoring and supporting the natural expression of our terroir can truly great wines be produced.

We do not use herbicides in order to preserve the delicate balance and the unique, creative energy of our soil. Every aspect of our work is dedicated to expressing the true personality of our vineyards, while maintaining the authentic differences from one vintage to the next.

GRACI cultivates only indigenous grape varieties—Nerello Mascalese, Carricante, and Catarratto—with great attention to sustainability. The vineyards are organically certified, with meticulous selection and a focus on achieving full phenolic ripeness, while keeping yields to a minimum. In the cellar, the approach is rigorous, aiming for precision and finesse. Vinification and aging take place in concrete vats, tini, and large barrels made from very long-seasoned wood. Every effort is made to preserve the personality of the grape varieties and the integrity of each vintage, in the belief that only by respecting the natural expression of a great terroir can a wine truly move and inspire.
