VANTOROSSO

Founded in 2015, Vantorosso is a relatively young winery with a story rooted in ambition and passion. The winery was established by Vanni, a champion racing driver and car tester, who transferred the determination and perseverance from his career into the world of winemaking. Vantorosso is situated in Valgatara, in the heart of Valpolicella Classico, one of Italy’s most revered wine regions. The estate, built on land with vineyards dating back to the 16th century, spans 7 hectares of hillside vineyards at altitudes between 350 and 450 meters above sea level.

The winery’s vineyards, located in the famed Valpolicella Classico area, include plots in Fumane, Marano, San Pietro, and Negrar. The vines range in age from 5 to 25 years, with a mix of traditional Veronese varieties such as Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella. Vanni's mission is to breathe new life into his family’s historic lands, merging tradition with innovation to create outstanding wines that capture the essence of the Valpolicella terroir. Vantorosso offers visitors the opportunity to experience both the rich history and the vibrant future of this storied wine region.

Vantorosso specializes in producing some of Valpolicella's most iconic wines, each carefully crafted to showcase the region's distinctive grape varieties and terroir. The winery's portfolio includes the Valpolicella Classico DOC, a fresh and versatile red wine that captures the fruit-forward charm of the region, and the Ripasso Superiore Classico DOC, a fuller-bodied, complex wine known for its rich flavors and smooth texture.

The crown jewels of Vantorosso’s offerings are the Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG and the Amarone Riserva della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, both of which are made from partially dried grapes to achieve a concentrated, velvety richness. For those seeking something sweet and unique, the Recioto della Valpolicella Classico DOCG offers a luscious, dessert wine with intense flavors of dried fruit and spice.
