Join this fantastic tour of the villages of Cinque Terre and taste a traditional liqueur from the Liguria region, Limoncino, not to be confused with the southern Limoncello!
The tour departs from the cruise terminal of La Spezia Port, where your tour leader will be waiting for you. After joining the group, you will follow your guide for a pleasant 20-minute walk to the train station, where your adventure will begin. During the walk, you will discover the beautiful city center of La Spezia! Admire the colorful houses and take in the scent of the sea breeze which characterizes this unique port city.
Your first stop will be Vernazza, one of the five gems of Cinque Terre. This village is known for its breathtaking, colorful views. During your time in Vernazza, you'll be able to enjoy some free time and discover the village on your own. You'll see, you will fall in love with its wonderful panoramas and relaxing culture.
The second stop will be Monterosso. This small town has plenty of restaurants, shops, historical points, and more. Here, you will take part in a Limoncino tasting, a traditional lemon liqueur from this region which you'll have the opportunity to try in one of the most traditional shops of Monterosso. Here you will also have enough free time to discover the village on your own and have lunch. Enjoy its panoramic terrace, where you will see a statue of St. Francis of Assisi and/or relax near the beautiful beach-front view of Monterosso!
Your last stop before heading back to La Spezia will be Riomaggiore. Here, you will have some free time to walk through the narrow streets of the town and admire its beautiful landscapes. Visit the fishing port and its panoramic terrace, from where you can undoubtedly appreciate the particular construction of Riomaggiore and the Gulf of Cinque Terre. This dreamy landscape will leave you speechless!
