Quality vegan wines, with an intense and pure taste, very pleasant to taste and a good pairing with local cured meats and cheeses.

Enchanting place visited last year that has stayed in my heart. The experience begins among the vineyards with the owner, who with incredible passion tells the story of the grapes and the deep bond that unites the wine with its territory. It continues with a truly abundant tasting, rich with authentic typical Calabrian products and, obviously, their excellent wines. To finish in style, a regenerating walk leads to the viewpoint, where the sky offers one of the most moving sunsets you could wish for.

We really liked the wine, but the explanation was very basic and with little enthusiasm. We were a little disappointed because the place was beautiful, but they barely explained anything to us, neither about the site nor how it's cultivated, and the guide was not very dynamic or enthusiastic. It's a very good activity in terms of value for money, but too simple and basic for what they propose in the ad.

A friend and I participated in a tasting at this winery a few weeks ago and it was a beautiful experience. The winery is small but very welcoming and authentic. Salvatore told us the history of the company with enthusiasm, conveying all his passion for wine and for the work he does. The tasting was accompanied by excellent products prepared by his wife, truly delicious. We felt right at home. We highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to discover a genuine reality made with heart!

We were accompanied on this beautiful experience by Giacomo. He explained the entire history of the Gondi family and subsequently of the villa in a truly engaging way. He was so knowledgeable on every historical and wine-related topic that he impressed us. After this magnificent tour around the estate, the time for the tasting finally arrived. We started with the “Violana” rosé which, personally speaking, even though I don't love rosés too much, immediately made us understand what category we were talking about… The second wine tasted was the “Villa Bossi,” a Chianti Riserva 70% Sangiovese, 20% Colorino and 10% Sauvignon. Once I found out the price I almost laughed… I immediately thought I would have paid at least double for it! A spectacle! The third wine was “Poggio Diamante,” a 100% Sangiovese. This wine takes its name from the area in which this grape grows! Selected by the one they consider a bit like the mother of their Burgundy-style wine, Maria de Labruguière, who was widowed by Francesco Gondi (1889), winning numerous awards! The tasting then continued with the delicious Vin Santo! Left to macerate for a good 11 years! Only four families in the world continue this long procedure… but you can taste the result!!!! To finish with the icing on the cake, we tasted the oil of their production… a slight tingle in the throat with a spectacular flavor! I highly recommend this experience… whoever comes to visit these areas cannot miss passing through here! A mix that makes you feel at home but also makes you realize how much history is behind it and how much importance this family has had both in the local territory, in Italy, but also internationally. Simply thanks to Giacomo, Gerardo and the legendary cellarman Fibra!
