This tasting experience was excellently presented by our informative host. The venue is beautiful - very grand and the wine making facilities are excellent. The wines themselves were a little disappointing - however this is down to personal taste and in no way detracted from the overall experience.

Interesting experience.

The tour was just as we had arranged. The winery is small and we were alone, so one person was enough to attend to us. With great kindness and making an effort to speak to us in Spanish, we learned about the history of the building and the production methods. Afterwards we moved on to the tasting, sampling three really good wines. My friends chose the rosso, I opted for the brunello which, even without being a reserva, I thought was spectacular. We left grateful and happy.

We had a wonderful wine tasting with a tour, viewing, and description of the vine cultivation and the wine, sparkling wine, and vermouth production. The food served with the wines paired excellently and was of very high quality due to its regionality.

Really good place

Place was beautiful, we were warmly welcomed. We got some bread and after we got an interesting and professional wine tour, our guide was really good and had alot of knowledge. Got to taste few wines at tour and they were so good. After the tour we got really delicious food and we got offered more if wanted. Also pairing wines were included. After finished we where shown some animals at farm, cute. Wine tour is a must if visiting Sicily. We really could recommend Augustali vinery for all who wants to deepen their knowledge about winemaking and enjoy good food. Only negative is when coming by car you can’t enjoy too much wine.
