About the Winery
Hello from Mura Winery!
I’m Marianna, and I'm introducing our family company, founded in 1975 by our father Filippo.
During your visit, you will find a beautiful Mediterranean valley of colourful plants with intense aromas. Our best-known wines are Vermentino and Cannonau. Taste them paired with our typical local products!
About the Wines
The most important wine in the Gallura area is Vermentino D.O.C.G., produced from the white Vermentino di Gallura grape.
A very elegant white wine is Sienda. Cheremi and Prisma are the fresh ones. Decennio is our velvety Vermentino Riserva, aged in a wooden tank. Cortes Cannonau is very intense in its notes of red fruits. Baja aged in barrique is our blend of Cannonau and Bovale.

A physically small winery, but a giant in its class
As an enthusiast of good wines (and an ONAV taster) I wanted to get to know this winery.
I booked a tour/tasting, paying a fee that was only seemingly high.
I was welcomed by friendly and knowledgeable people who patiently explained the birth of the winery, the vineyards surrounding the estate, the winemaking and bottling systems, the barrel room.
We were then hosted in a wonderful room with a view of the vineyards, for a tasting (a white, a rosé and a red) accompanied by Sardinian cheeses, cold cuts, vegetables in oil, delicious jams, olives and many other truly exquisite things.
Almost a lunch.
The wines were truly up to par, especially the Cannonau.
A truly positive experience.
Compliments to the owners of the estate and to the skilled and very nice guide.
