Excellent and informative tour
We had such a great time visiting Il Dosso Winery in Franciacorta. It’s a small, family-run place and you really feel that personal touch throughout the tour. It was really interesting to see how they work and to hear the passion behind what they do.
The wines were excellent, with a lovely variety to try, and the tasting was made even better by the local meats and cheeses they served alongside – such a perfect match!
A really warm and welcoming experience – I’d definitely recommend Il Dosso if you want something more personal and authentic than the bigger tours.

Sips to savour
The winery owner gave us a tour and then hosted the lunch. We were the only ones there for the first hour and half. It was lovely, our table was set up over a canopy and there was a lovely breeze. He was very informative and my husband and I learned a great deal about making organic wine. The food was excellent as was the many wines we tasted. Wonderful afternoon- we definitely would recommend this to others.

Amazing wine tasting experience, highlight of our trip
Our wine tasting at Tenuta Frontelago was amazing all throughout. Both the tour around the winery, the tasting itself and the snacks that were included in the price were great. The owners made us feel very welcome and appreciated at the tour. We bought a bottle with us in the end of the tour which was amazing as well. The winery is easy to get to by public transport and if you want to walk to/from Sirmione it's a nice 1-hour walk by the lake. We definitely really recommend this experience!

A Professional and Tasty Experience!
A place steeped in family history and professionalism, where every glass pays homage to the sweat and dedication of those who have chosen to consecrate their lives to the vineyard.
The passion is perceived in the explanations, clear and engaging, and in an approach to wine that is authentic, natural, without forcing or excess.
The tasting was a true journey of discovery for the palate: personally, I was fascinated by the ADELE Metodo Classico Brut, elegant and persistent, while my partner fell in love with the Moscato Metodo Classico, a special gem that we had never had the chance to taste before.
To accompany the glasses, a generous platter of local cured meats and cheeses, among which the Bosio stood out, simply spectacular.
Overall, an experience that surprised and won us over: a winery that absolutely deserves to be discovered.

Substantial Tasting
The experience takes place in two separate locations; at the first, you arrive at a farmhouse where you will be taken to see where the wine is left to rest in barrels and then bottled. Right above there they are finishing construction on a space that will be used as a tasting room with an adjoining kitchen to accompany the wines; from what we were told, each wine will be paired with a specific dish tailor-made to enhance the aromas and profile of the wine itself.
The tasting part then took place inside the small town of Neive, where they have a dedicated space for this.
Once the glasses are raised, it will take a while to put them down given the generous amount of wine provided to us.
As for my preference, which was then followed by a Magnum, I have to say it was the Metodo Classico.
The platter was not substantial compared to how much we drank, although they refilled our breadsticks and bread several times.
Overall I can say it was a good experience, although I expected something more given the renowned location.

Perfect pairing
The whole experience from the time you walk in and are greeted to the end of purchasing products was amazing. This was our first time ever doing a wine tasting anywhere. They explained everything; the process, the bottling and why it pairs with different foods. The fresh jams, meats and vegetables are sooo good. There was no pressure to purchase anything at the end. Very clean, comfortable and easy to get to. The whole family is amazing. To watch the locals come in one after another to get wine says a lot about the winery.
