5 WINE TASTING AT DOMINI SAN CALARE (Mikhail)First of all, this is not a typical wine tasting! It’s a tiny winery with a small room for guests, a gorgeous view from the window, and outdoor seating as well. Unfortunately, it was too chilly for us to sit outside when we visited. It was just my wife and me, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The woman who led the presentation (unfortunately, I can’t remember her name) was new to the job, but she did a fantastic job introducing the wines. And the wines themselves were excellent! To top it all off, she prepared quite a spread of seafood. Everything was exactly what you would expect in Puglia: wonderfully fresh, mostly crudo, and beautifully presented. It was a bit pricey, but well worth it for such a unique and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

4 Quality wines & lots of interesting history (Karen)We enjoyed walking through the museum & looking at the items. We did expect a guide to walk with us & give us more details. We booked for 2:30 & we’re asked if we were willing to shift to 2:45 to join with another group. I agreed. However, when we arrived, we were told the other group was late They joined us to a large group at 3:00 who were clearly not interested in anything the guides had to say. The people in that group made it very difficult for us to enjoy our experience. We were disappointed with being added to their group rather than having our own experience. We did ask to stay after the group left so I could ask questions & get more information about the grape varieties, production, etc. That time was the best part of our experience. We loved many of the wines & did purchase a case. The two guides were very friendly & nice & we appreciate the time they spent with us.

We visited the winery yesterday, and the experience was simply unforgettable. The historical tour of the site was fascinating, but what truly made the visit special was Nico. His service, courtesy, patience, and explanations were top-notch. Nico didn't just convey information; he shared a genuine passion for the place and gave us a broad, in-depth perspective on the world of wine in Puglia and the region as a whole. We had plenty of questions, and he dedicated significant time beyond the official tour to explain, elaborate, and answer everything with patience and a smile. There is no doubt that Nico is a true ambassador for the winery. The tour was fantastic and left us wanting more. Highly recommended for any wine lover!

5 Fabulous tour of this family run vineyard (Marika)We went to this vineyard as part of my daughter's 21st birthday celebrations, as we also wanted to visit Alberobello which is located about 7 minutes drive away. We enjoyed the tour around the organic vineyard in a golf buggy and the information provided on the variety of grapes grown, followed by a tour of the wine making process and the cellar. The wine tasting experience was wonderful as the four wines tasted were accompanied by cheeses and cured meats produced on the family's farm. All the staff were lovely too. We had a great time and bought a bottle of wine from the shop at the end of our visit. I would definitely recommend visiting and supporting this family run vineyard.

From the moment we arrived, his kind, welcoming and entertaining attitude made the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Marco explained clearly and professionally how his wines are produced, giving us plenty of interesting information without getting too technical. It was fascinating to learn about the process while still keeping the tour accessible and enjoyable. The wine tasting was a real highlight, accompanied by some delicious snacks and bites that complemented the wines beautifully. His wines are full of flavour and character, and we enjoyed them so much that we ended up buying a couple of bottles of each variety! All in all, it was a very enjoyable and memorable experience. 5 Lovely experience (Rachel)We had a wonderful time touring the vineyard with Marco. He was very friendly and spoke multiple languages; English quite well!! He was humble and knowledgeable. Their wines were fantastic and not too sweet which we loved. His wife prepares the food and the pairings were exceptional. Her focaccia with caramelized onions was out of this world-I’d actually love some right now!! Would definitely return and recommend to others. This was not your typical vineyard as their wines are organic, hand picked grapes with an at home feel.

5 Good family experience, great wines (Sylvia)We enjoyed a very thorough visit and explanation about how the wines are produced. (If you are not really into wines it can be even a little bit long). Come on an empty stomach - there is a lot of food - everything delicious. My favorite was the rosé! My husband and I shared the experience with our adult daughters and enjoyed it very much.

The food was very tasty (we had the Gurmand package for early dinner) and more than enough for a full meal. The wine was excellent and it worked really well with the food. To top it up, they have the cutest little dog we have ever seen. We loved the trip and the experience.

5 Amazing Experience (KIYOMI)What a lovely tour! The guide was amazing, funny, and the tasting was also a 10/10 - sadly we had to miss the last course as we had to leave to meet our property owner at our accommodations so be warned, don't bank on the suggested length of time (and not a bad thing, we wanted to stay as long as we could!). I myself don't drink wine but the food was great, my Mom who does love wine walked away with 5 bottles for the trip and to bring home, safe to say she was a fan!

5 Five stars for Marco, his dog Spank and the food (Fleming)My girlfriend and I visited for an evening wine tasting and had a wonderful time. Only two of us turned up, so we ended up with a private tour by happy accident. What a stroke of luck. The whole experience was extremely informative. Marco made the evening fantastic. He is genuinely funny and switches between several languages with ease (we booked the tour in English and surprised us when he started speaking fluent German). He clearly knows his wines and he explains everything in a way that keeps you engaged from start to finish. We chose the €45 option, which comes with snacks, and the food was brilliant. We asked for a few more cheese options and he accommodated us happily, no fuss at all. We can't recommend it enough. Five stars, and we would absolutely do it again. Grazie anchora, Marco!
