Santa Giulia Winery, located in the picturesque hills of Montalcino, has been a cherished family estate since 1950. The ATRIVM farm is located in the town of San Giovanni d'Asso, adjacent to the Brunello's territory, in the province of Montalcino. The farm was built on the ruins of a medieval hamlet and has always been dedicated to the cultivation of vines and the production of wine. The farm has a territory of 100.000 m², of which 30.000 are dedicated to DOC Orcia vineyards and 20.000 to olive groves. This area is also dotted with colorful beehives for beekeeping. In the sixties, the farm was among the first wineries to test the use of row vines for the vineyard, thanks to grandfather Argante's ability to combine the centennial local tradition and innovative viticultural theories. Another of Argante's merits was to pass on his passion for the land to his sons and grandsons, above all Emilio, the current manager: after graduating, at the end of an education based on enology, agronomy, zootechnics, biology and chemistry, he decided to apply his theoretical knowledge to manage the farm and to succeed, like his grandfather, in improving it without undermining the quality of the products.

Casanuova delle Cerbaie began its wine production in the early 1980s, thanks to the great passion and love for vines of a lady of German origin. In 2008 the estate was purchased by an influential New Yorker who has always been passionate about Tuscany, Montalcino and its great wines. The splendid location and the excellent wine produced proved to be a winning combination and immediately gave rise to this new and fascinating experience. Right from the start, significant investments were made and great innovative improvements were made to produce a wine of high quality and infinite elegance.

Sassodisole Winery, a family-owned business, is nestled in a unique area on the northeastern side of Montalcino and within the Natural Artistic Park of Orcia’s Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Terzuoli family has cultivated their 8-hectare vineyard, entirely planted with native Sangiovese vines, at an elevation of 300 meters above sea level. Committed to the traditions of Montalcino, the family meticulously selects grapes by hand and ages the wine in Slavonian oak barrels. Their legacy in agriculture dates back to the 17th century, with the modern winery established in the 1970s by Bruno and Graziella Terzuoli. Their son Roberto, with his deep agricultural knowledge and experience in top Brunello di Montalcino wineries, has continued the family's passion, elevating the quality of Sassodisole wines.    

My name is Martina, and I was born and raised between the Val d’Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and Valdichiana, famous for its Chianina beef. Since 2016, I’ve carried on my family's tradition of cultivating wine and olive oil, expanding the farm and adding agritourism activities. Lignanello covers 5 hectares, with 1.5 hectares of vineyards primarily planted with Sangiovese, alongside Merlot, Syrah, Trebbiano, and Malvasia. We are small producers, bottling about 5,500 bottles annually, focusing on quality and organic methods.  

Poggio San Polo is an innovative winery in Montalcino that blends tradition with sustainability. The winery, largely underground, follows eco-friendly principles of bio-architecture and social responsibility. Every stage of the production process, from the vineyards to packaging, focuses on quality and minimal environmental impact. Certified organic in 2017, Poggio San Polo was awarded CasaClima Wine certification in 2013 for its sustainability efforts. The estate spans 16 hectares, with 8 hectares dedicated to Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, located in a prime, ventilated terroir.

The spirit of Sanlorenzo lies in the dreams that gave it life and continue to fuel its growth every day. Sanlorenzo is rooted in the traditions of Montalcino and its renowned Brunello, yet it also embraces technology, research, and experimentation. Above all, Sanlorenzo values authenticity and respect for hard work, qualities reflected in the exceptional wines it produces and the simplicity of the people behind them. It was in the late 19th century when Lorenzo Ferretti, who lived in a farmhouse in the hills to the South-West of Montalcino, decided to buy some land where he could build a house. The place was called Rogarelli, and it was here that he started his family; he had 7 children, including Guido. Guido Ferretti married Teresina Caselli and they had two children; Bramante and Giovanni.   The sun rises early that day, and sets late for the grape pickers at Sanlorenzo, but in the end, everyone, even the vines, will have their deserved, if short lived, rest.

Pian delle Ginestre is a historic winery in the heart of Montalcino, owned by Grazia Ciacci Bellocci Natalini, the descendant of the Ciacci family, historic landowners of Montalcino and always appreciated producers of wine and oil.  The cellar is located along the Sesta road on the "Belvedere" farm at 300 meters above sea level, in the most suitable area for producing Brunello di Montalcino wine. It extends for approximately 75 hectares with 2,850 centuries-old olive trees and 11.5 hectares of vineyards, of which 5.5 are certified for the production of Brunello di Montalcino. The philosophy of the Tenuta's management is based on the strong bond between the property and its roots and the traditions of the place. But it is the foresight and the continuous search for quality that has led to the investment of many resources, aimed at improving and modernizing the management and production techniques. The estate uses refined materials (selected wood for the barrels), high-quality organic products for the various crops, and cutting-edge machinery.

Villa Le Prata embodies the unique blend of Tuscan terroir, human dedication, and the wisdom of centuries-old winemaking traditions. Situated in the heart of Montalcino, this winery is a testament to the relentless pursuit of perfection by Anna and Bernardo, who have infused their passion into every bottle. The estate, enriched by the Tuscan galestro soil and a distinctive microclimate, produces wines that are more than just drinks—they are an experience, inviting you to discover the difference between drinking and tasting.

Cava d’Onice entered the superb world of Brunello di Montalcino in 2005, when Simone – owner and winemaker – decided to buy his father’s winery (Colombaio). From that time up to nowadays a lot of work and efforts have been done. Simone approached the wine world when he was a young boy. His father, who worked for a long time in one of the most important families of the Brunello di Montalcino, has been his first mentor. When Simone started this activity with his father, everything was considered a “play”: a hobby as they like to say.   The vineyard they firstly owned and which is still there, is less than one hectare and counts a few rows. The first vintages they released were the Brunello di Montalcino D.O.C.G. Colombaio 2000 with 266 and Rosso di Montalcino D.O.C. 1997, a couple of bottles more.  As soon as the wine reached the demand, the wine world started to be a real business and the hundreds bottles became thousands. The single vineyard became a small conglomerate of parcels: the most important represented by Vigna Cava d’Onice, from where the winery name takes its origins. This winery is the intimate expression of their connection with the territory, with its traditions and rules. Here they grew up and here they live, trying to convey to their children the joy of these values. Being a small family farm means to have a capillary quality control.  All the wine making processes is supervised by Simone: from the beginning with the manual harvesting up to the end, the bottling of these beautiful wines. The working methods of the estate embraced the organic model several years ago, however the official conversion took place in September 2017. In 2020 the family reached a 6 hectares of planted area, with a very diversified soil texture and microsystem.

Poggio Stenti is a family-run farm located in the rolling hills of Montenero d'Orcia, in the heart of the Val d'Orcia. With over 5 hectares of certified organic vineyards, it produces outstanding wines under the prestigious Montecucco Sangiovese DOCG and Maremma Toscana DOC appellations. Led by the Pieri family, the estate blends tradition and innovation, focusing on sustainability and artisanal excellence. In addition to wines, Poggio Stenti produces Extra Virgin Olive Oil and a selection of traditional cured meats and fresh cuts, all made from locally grown and raised ingredients. These products are available for purchase at the Bottega in Sant’Angelo Scalo, Montalcino.

Caprili is one of the historic founding wineries of Montalcino, with a story that intertwines deeply with the land and its traditions. The estate was established in 1965, when Alberto and his son Alfo purchased Podere Caprili, a property where they had already lived and worked as sharecroppers since 1952. That same year, they planted their very first vineyard, affectionately named “Madre” (Mother). In 1978, Caprili proudly bottled its first Brunello di Montalcino, and by 1983, the winery officially entered the world of wine commerce. Since then, it has become a respected name in Tuscan winemaking, celebrated for its authenticity and deep-rooted connection to the terroir. Today, the estate spans 58 hectares in the southwestern quadrant of the Montalcino appellation, an area known for producing elegant, structured wines. Caprili remains a proud family-run business, now in the hands of Alfo’s three children — Paola, Manuele, and Paolo — alongside the new generation represented by Giacomo (son of Manuele) and Filippo (son of Paola). Their work carries forward the legacy of Caprili with a shared respect for tradition, family, and the land.

Tenute Silvio Nardi is one of the historic wineries of Montalcino, with a legacy that dates back to 1950 when Silvio Nardi purchased the Casale del Bosco estate. As the first "outsider" to enter the Montalcino winemaking scene, Silvio Nardi played a pioneering role in the region and was one of the founding members of the Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino in 1967. Today, the Nardi family continues to run the estate with the same passion and dedication, always focused on quality while investing in research and innovation. Despite these advancements, Tenute Silvio Nardi remains true to its roots as a traditional Tuscan farm, preserving the character and authenticity that has defined it for decades. Visitors to the estate can experience a perfect balance of history, tradition, and forward-thinking winemaking in one of Italy's most iconic wine regions.

Citille di Sopra is a winery that has embraced innovation while preserving tradition, focusing on sustainability and efficiency in every step of production. The goal is to optimize each process while maintaining the highest standards of quality and authenticity. All products, from wine and grappa to extra virgin olive oil, flour, and even pasta, are made exclusively from raw materials grown and processed on the estate. This 100% in-house production ensures complete control over quality and guarantees the purity and excellence of the final product. The experience comes full circle in the tasting room, where visitors can enjoy all the estate’s specialties in the presence of the owner, against the backdrop of a breathtaking landscape.

Located 45 minutes from the medieval city of Siena, La Canonica winery and farmhouse offers an idyllic setting in the Val d'Orcia, on the border of the Crete Senesi. La Canonica is a 17th-century farmhouse, almost unique in its construction from travertine blocks. Its name reflects its history as a former church property, once home to nuns of the Order of San Bernardino in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. It later became the property of a wealthy landowning family who lived in the nearby Castelverdelli until 1958, when Orfeo and Diana acquired it. Today, the estate is lovingly managed by their daughters, Donella and Serenella, who strive to maintain a warm, family-friendly environment for all who visit. Padelletti is one of Montalcino's most historic wineries, with a legacy that dates back to 1571. The Padelletti family has been producing Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino for over 500 years, embodying a dedication to quality and tradition that has endured for generations. The vineyards are located in the northern part of Montalcino, where the climate is ideal for growing exceptional Sangiovese grapes. The family’s deep connection to the land and passion for winemaking make Padelletti one of the most respected names in the region. The winery is unique in that it offers visitors a rare opportunity to explore a fully operational vineyard within the historical center of Montalcino, with its tasting room located in a structure built in 1571.

Molino Sant'Antimo is a family-run winery deeply rooted in the prestigious terroir of Montalcino. Located on a 40-hectare estate that stretches along the south to southwest-facing slopes, the family cultivates their vineyards with dedication, guided by a pursuit of excellence in winemaking. Their passion for crafting the best possible Brunello is reflected in the natural enthusiasm with which they approach viticulture. Combining tradition and modernity, the estate's state-of-the-art cellar allows them to produce wines that embody the rich heritage of Montalcino.

Castelnuovo Tancredi’s winemaking tradition dates back to the early 1900s, long before the area became known for its wine production. Our cantina started bottling and labeling wines in the early 1980s, moving away from the practice of selling wine by the liter or in dameggiane (large glass jugs). Today, the estate is managed by Guido Venturini Del Greco, a third-generation descendant of the family that has owned this beautiful property since 1897. The estate was originally purchased by Guido’s great-grandfather, a prominent industrialist from Torino who invested in both the castle and its surrounding lands. Our vineyard covers 4 hectares, primarily planted with Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah. While Colorino grapes, once popular for adding color to Sangiovese, are now only used for blending, our current focus is on producing exceptional wines that reflect the rich heritage of the Orcia region. Guido and his wife Lee, an AIS-accredited sommelier, oversee wine production, sales, and tastings, sharing their passion with visitors who come to explore the estate.
