Her ability to explain the process of creating and making wine from harvesting the grapes through fermentation and then bottling was amazing. She was patient, answered every question and then provided detailed information on what foods went best with 5 different varieties of wine. Both the wine food were excellent and the vineyard was beautiful. An exceptional experience.

5 Charming experience! (Katie)We LOVED our time at Santa Giulia! We arrived and got a quick tour of the cellar. After, we sat inside and received a detailed explanation of each wine we tried. The food we were served was the best meal of our two week trip to Italy. Fresh salads, breads, meats & cheeses all prepared here. The pasta dish was comforting and so tasty. Everyone was kind and we met some other travelers at the next table who were so fun. We loved this experience and had much fun hanging out here for the day- beautiful winery!

The wine tasting and lunch were excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious—especially the pasta, which was honestly the best pasta I had during my entire trip to Italy! The wines were wonderful, the Tuscan countryside was beautiful, and the hospitality was warm and welcoming. Everything felt authentic, relaxed, and thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Montalcino. A truly memorable Tuscan experience!

5 Amazing experience - unmatched warmth and hospitality (Sela)A group of four of us visited SANTA GIULIA MONTALCINO and were hosted like family. 5 Great day foraging. (Mario)We have spent the last 10 days in Italy and would say so far this was the highlight of our trip. It was so much fun and interesting to be educated on the whole process of the farm. Lucca the owner was extremely delightful and it was obvious the passion he has for his craft. Dogs were so much fun as they eagerly hunted for the truffles. The lunch following the hunt was our best meal in Italy. Paired with multiple wines. The value for the money was fantastic. Money well spent!!!! Don’t think twice, book this trip!

The tour and the experience were very intimate, there were ni more than 10 people, which really made it that much enjoyable. The wines were excellent and the food was plantiful and delicious as well. 5 Cooking Class at Tiberini - So much fun! (Steve)We had an amazing time attending the cooking class experience at Tiberini Winery. Samuele (the chef) was so pleasant to talk to and it was a joy to learn some cooking techniques from him as well as seeing him at work. The food was excellent as was the company. We enjoyed the relaxed and familiar way the entire experience went. after a short time you felt that you were a friend of the Tiberini family experiencing their food and wines in their home. It was so much fun the be eating a lunch that we hand a hand in preparing while sampling the Tiberini wines. After lunch we had an enjoyable walk through the gardens with Samuele where he talked about the food that he grew there that would end up on his table. The vineyard and winery visit with Luca was very informative but most of all it was amazing the see the passion for the land and way of life that came through in Luca's words. The entire experience was something that Julie and I will always remember and we cannot recommend it more highly.

5 Truffles and great wine (Angela )When I booked this experience I wasn’t sure how it would go and it was definitely better than I expected. Upon arrival we were greeted and offered a coffee and then set out with a few other couples to the woods to watch the dog work to find truffles in the woods. He was quite successful and we found several truffles. Then we went back to the winery where we dined on some special dishes paired with great wine. Our host was charming and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend this adventure!

5 Great truffle experience overall! (Jinbin)We had a really great time walking through the nearby forest with Mario and his dog Kiko. Wonderful Kiko found us 4 good sized truffles and we really enjoyed the crisp autumn air. Lunch was amazing. The host had prepared a 4 course lunch, complete with wine pairing from their own vineyards and winery. Of course, every course had generous shavings of truffle on it and it went very well with the dishes. This is an experience I would highly recommend to those who have not experienced wild truffle hunting before.

5 Outstanding (Jeffrey)A group of 5 of us went on a wine tour of Santa Guilia this month. We also had a lunch. First their wines are outstanding including a very reasonably priced Brunello. 5 Highlight of Tuscany (David)This wine tour and tasting was one of our favorite experiences of Tuscany. We had a personalized tour of the vineyard, olive trees, fermenting and aging rooms. Camilla and Emilio made us feel like family and we had the chance to meet their family members. They taught us a great deal about the history of their family farm, wine making process and Tuscan culture. It was a welcome change from some wine tastings that can be pretentious and cold feeling. The food provided was delicious. This is a must do for those who want an intimate, family feel experience!

5 Small, but Beautiful (Phoebe)Small but beautiful vineyard. We got a quick tour of their facilities and an informative history on Brunello wines. Lunch was amazing! Probably one of the top meals we had in Italy from start to finish. Everything was delicious, fresh and made with love. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there with Mariangela and we got to meet and play with their new puppy Fiamma who runs the vineyard! The owners were around. Would’ve loved to have had some interaction with them as we saw them speaking to other visitors.

5 Visit to Vinery Santa Giulia Montalcino (Dick)We had a very nice visit to the vinery Santa Giulia Montalcino. We were warmly welcomed and made a tour where we got a clear view on how the process of producing wine at Santa Giulia Montalcino is conducted and managed. The lunch with testing of four different wines was excellent and we will sure try to buy some wine from this vinery in the Netherlands. Because we were on a biking tour we were not able to buy wine on the spot and take with us. We can recommend a visit to this vinery to everyone who is interest in a small scale vinery with high quality wines.
