5 lovely afternoon (Karen)We had a lovely time touring this vineyard in a horse drawn carriage, quite exciting to feel the power of them as they surged uphill. Back at the winery we were shown to a nicely laid table where we would taste the wine. It was accompanied by a platter of cheese, cured meats and fresh bread. It was very relaxed and unhurried, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

4 Interesting (Tom)When we arrived we had to wait for another group that was late; we went ahead after about 15-20 minutes. We love Montefalco wines which are not readily available in DFW. The food was good and we ordered a couple cases of wine. This part of the process was not as seamless as it could have been mainly because the person was a new employee and had some difficulties with some of the paperwork. That said it was a pleasurable experience and would recommend the tasting. Make sure you have a good GPS and the phone number. Signage could be improved. Nice view from the tasting room.

5 Great Wines and Fun Tour (Dawn)We had such a great experience at Antonelli San Marco. Our tour and tastings were in English and our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The food pairings were a fun addition to the really good wine, too. It is a beautiful place. Highly recommend!

5 Great experience! (Elania)We had a lovely afternoon with Tiziana. Weather was amazing and we enjoyed looking around the vineyard. Dishes were great and cooked at the moment. Wine selection was very interesting and we enjoyed the variety of them. Napolini is a special place. Highly recommend!

5 Lovely, small, family winery offering great value for money. (Debbie)The family were very welcoming and helpful, describing the wines and supplying us with generous glasses of wine. The wines were all really lovely and there was no problem when we asked to have more if the rise instead of the last red. The bruschetta was lovely too.

5 Top Class Event - delightfully presented. (Peter)Giulia was a most gracious and helpful host. She and her family exemplify the dedicated artisanal craft of wine and olive oil production in proper organic conditions and it shows in their love for their produce. She offered a wonderful description of the wines, the viniculture and the care they all invest in creating such a high quality range of good wine. We were treated to samples of the range along with some delicious antipasti which only helped enhance the joy of the tasting experience. We were a party of 12 and we were all delighted with our authentic italian enodegustazione. Full marks to Giulia and do please make the journey to Bevagna and visit this charming boutique winery.

5 Amazing (Chiara)My boyfriend and I had the best time during the wine tasting. First we had a small tour and after we tasted all the amazing wines a tried the bruschette with the olive oil. Our host was Valentina, which did a wonderful job in explaining the whole process of the different wines. After the tasting we bought 4 different wines and the olive oil. We recommend this to anyone the visits Umbria.

5 Exceptional Wines with A View (Tania)We (2 adults, 1 child) had a wonderful first visit to Perticaia! We visited on a beautiful April afternoon. The drive to the vineyard was breathtaking. We started with a tour of the property, its history, and thorough lesson on winemaking. We then tasted five extraordinary wines (1 white, 1 rose, 3 reds) and then received a bonus taste of an older vintage. I would recommend carving out a good amount (2-3 hours) of time to enjoy the wines. Definitely a highlight of our trip and can’t wait to return!

5 Good value authentic wine tasting (Matthew)This winery was very easy to get to. We were greeted by the owner and friendly staff. We were immediately served our first wine and while sipping that, we got to see the grapes being harvested and pumped into vats. The range of wines is great and they serve good portions. Overall this is a high value tasting and we walked away with two bottles at the end.

The Wines were fantastic and the explanations were fantastic and informative! They even prepared a small dish for the kids. I can only recommend it, you‘ll never forget such an experience. 10/10

5 Fantastic Umbria Wine and Food experience (Martin)We spent 5 hours doing the Francesca wine and food option at La Veneranda. Although not fluent in English the staff made our experience very special and we also had access to English/Italian cards describing the wines. Both Anna Rita and Barbera were very kind and welcoming throughout the afternoon. We were completely unrushed and could take our time enjoying the excellent wines (8 all up) and the copious food (lots of local prosciutto and cheese). We sat in a small comfortable air-conditioned room for the tasting. We would strongly recommend this small winery for an authentic Umbrian experience.

5 La Fonte Di Bevagna (Elisa)My daughter and I had a wonderful time at la fonte di Bevagna. The hostess was lovely, the vineyard was beautiful and the wine and olive oil tasting were amazing!! It is worth the trip out to this lovely vineyard! We can't recommend it enough!

5 Best thing we did on our vacation (Gail)The winery we visited La Veneranda was wonderful. The owner and his wife are charming and so welcoming. The tasting was outrageous. We had 7 glasses of wine and food that they made or were made by friends including cheese, breads and meats. I have had been to many. many wine tastings and this by far was the most special and enjoyable experience. I could not recommend it more.. .

5 Visit to Cantine Briziarelli (Bob)We were welcomed by a very friendly and charming hostess. She explained in clear English about tthe wines, made from the Sagretino grape. After a tour we were invited to taste 5 different wines, including explanation. Then we were left alone to degustation the wine with sample of different local sausages. All lovely.

5 A wonderful wine tasting experience (Peter)Cantina La Veneranda is run by a lovely family who made us feel very welcome. We had a wonderful experience tasting (drinking!) a variety of 7 great wines (2 white, 1 rosé and 4 red including the fantastic Sagrantino) accompanied by delicious food and stories about the production of their wine and food. They not only produce their own wines but also the food served. Good quality and quantity! Of course we couldn’t leave without buying a few good bottles!

5 Lovely wine tasting in a family yard (Paivi)We had wonderful more than 2 hours tasting in Fonte di Bevagna in July 2022. We were a family of four adults. Service was so friendly and smooth even though we did not have a reservation beforehand. They created us a very relaxing atmosphere with excellent home made wines to taste and also got a lot of first hand info how wines are produced and stories about the yard. Just a perfect way to spend a hot Umbrian Sunday afternoon! We warmly and truly recommend Fonte di Bevagna to everyone!

5 Fantastic experience, one to repeat (ELENA)We were gifted the complete tasting of 8 wines accompanied by local bites… truly an incredible experience! The welcome, the wines, the food, and the owner's explanation were perfect. Time flew by even though we stayed for more than three hours; everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail and even the wines tasted definitely exceeded our expectations. An experience that I warmly recommend to all lovers of good wine and good food!

4 Super (Mattia)The tasting itself, in terms of quality-price ratio, is truly excellent, the only thing is that there were two of us and they served the six glasses each with a plate of six small pieces of bread with their own production olive oil (which by the way was delicious) to share between the two of us… Increase the amount of food to line the stomach and it will be perfect

5 Fantastic adventure in the heart of Umbria (Valerio)I chose the truffle hunt as an experience for my wedding anniversary with my wife. It was a truly unique and beautiful experience. We spent the morning walking among fabulous hills and landscapes with the hunter and his dog Flipper. He told us many interesting things about the truffle hunt and the traditions of Umbria. After that we had a fantastic lunch, where the skilled chef of the Tenuta Saragano cooked us the truffles we found in the morning. During lunch we tasted some fantastic wines of the estate. I recommend this experience to all those who love the true taste of Italy.
