Vigneti Micossi is a historic winery rooted in the traditions of the Friuli region, with a legacy that dates back to the early 1900s. Originally established by the Micossi family, the winery expanded in the 1970s to include a "Frasca"—a cozy place where locals could not only buy wine but also enjoy a drink and a slice of salami or cheese in good company. During this time, Walter Micossi, the grandson of the original founder, took over the management of the cellar, enhancing production and beginning to market the wines more widely. Today, the winery is under the stewardship of Walter's son, Alessandro, who continues the family tradition with the same dedication and passion. Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Friuli, Vigneti Micossi offers visitors an authentic experience, blending history, culture, and the timeless art of winemaking.

Gori Agricola, established in 2009 by Piero Gori, is a modern winery deeply rooted in the traditions of the "Colli Orientali del Friuli" region in Nimis, an area rich in history dating back to ancient Roman times. Piero's passion for his homeland inspired him to create a winery that seamlessly blends innovation with the time-honored practices of winemaking.  Our winery is a marvel of both form and function. Built into the hillside on three levels, it uses gravity to move wine through the production process, minimizing the need for mechanical intervention. This unique architectural design not only preserves the integrity of the wine but also reduces our environmental footprint. Visitors to Gori Agricola can expect to be captivated by the beauty of the landscape and the winery itself, all while experiencing the rich flavors and traditions of Friuli’s wine heritage.  

Colutta Winery is nestled in the Colli Orientali del Friuli, a unique area in Friuli-Venezia Giulia that dates back to the Eocene era. This region, known for its distinct microclimate and ideal exposure, stands apart from the rest of the territory, making it a premier DOC area for producing world-renowned wines. The Colutta Farm, named "Bandut" after an ancient piece of land purchased by Antonio Colutta in the early 1900s, is now managed by Giorgio Colutta. Our vineyards, located in Buttrio, Manzano, and Rosazzo, are part of the prestigious "Parco della vite e del vino" (Vine and Wine Park) in the Colli Orientali del Friuli. Spanning 18 hectares, the estate has undergone significant reorganization and renovation, increasing vine density to 5,000-6,000 stumps per hectare to enhance the quality of our grapes. Recognized by major wine guides and publications like "Wine Spectator" and "Decanter," Colutta Winery is committed to excellence. We are also in the process of obtaining ISO 9001 Certification to ensure the highest standards of quality and service, from our vineyards to your glass.

Vini Brojli is located in Aquileia, Udine, near Grado. Managed by the Clementin family, the winery is part of the Agro Aquileiese, a territory historically famous for the production of high-quality wines. Viticulture has been practiced in Aquileia since the times of the ancient Romans, with the production of fine wines enriching the tables of the local nobility. Today, our goal is to produce wine products for consumers looking for excellence, with flavors that showcase the history of wines in the region and update them for today's market. This attention to detail means the aromas and perfumes of Aquileia are brought directly to your table in the bottle.

It was the passion for wine, combined with the desire to rediscover their origins, that led the Bastianich family, in 1997, to plant the first vineyards in Buttrio and Cividale del Friuli, in one of Italy's most suitable areas for the production of white wines. The vineyards, all owned since 1997, are located in two distinct areas of the DOC Colli Orientali del Friuli. The original vineyard, located in the communes of Buttrio and Premariacco, lies in the warmest, southernmost zone of Friuli Colli Orientali. These terraced vineyards are warmed by the heat of the Friulian plains and the Adriatic Sea. Re-planted and re-terraced in 2000-2002, these vines are at the height of their quality and production, providing the grapes for our greatest cru wines; Vespa Bianco, Vespa Rosso, Plus, and Calabrone. In Cividale, 10 miles to the north and cooled by mountain breezes, our vineyards here produce the grapes for the fresh, aromatic wines of the Vini Orsone line.

Isola Augusta is steeped in history and legend. Its name, rooted in the ancient Via Annia that linked Rome to Aquileia, reflects the land's Roman past. The winery is situated between the Tagliamento and Stella rivers, which once encircled it like an island. Close to the sea, Isola Augusta benefits from the salty sea breeze, and its clay-rich soils produce wines with a unique character. The winery is committed to sustainability, using renewable energy and low-impact farming techniques.

Nadalutti winery is located in Orsaria, between the hills of Manzano and Premariacco, in the heart of Colli Orientali del Friuli, and it is the result of almost sixty years of work of the family. Today the business produces excellent wines from vineyards located in Orsaria and Rosazzo, the latter being one of the most suited areas of Friuli for the production of white wines. The cultivation of vines is done with the traditional method of "double upside down" which allows to obtain an optimal vegetal-productive balance while respecting nature. In the production of grapes, Nadalutti winery makes use of integrated pest control with low environmental impact, without using herbicides, even in harvesting we remain faithful to these principles by harvesting grapes by hand in cases. The vinification of the grapes takes place in modern thermo-conditioned steel barrels. The rigor and great attention, even for the smallest detail, are combined with the traditional technique, to preserve the terroir and the aromatic heritage generated by our vines, in order to create unique wines.

Wine is a creation shaped not only by human hands but also by the elements. Weather, with its inherent unpredictability—rainfall, the sun’s gradual intensification, and drying winds—plays a crucial role in the life of vineyards and the quality of their fruits. Each vintage is unique, molded by these ever-changing factors. Time is another key element—the present that turns into the past, the slow maturation that spans years, allowing wine to develop its full character in taste and aroma. Each vintage evolves differently over time, further emphasizing the uniqueness of every bottle. To maintain consistency, all wines are produced in purity. The vineyards, located adjacent to the main facility, are owned by the company, ensuring that no grapes are purchased. Every step of the winemaking process, from harvest to bottling, aging, and labeling, takes place on-site. Our wines are truly wines of time. Every step of the production process is designed to preserve longevity: careful vine pruning to select the best shoots, rigorous thinning to leave only about a kilo of grapes per vine, and hand-harvesting that occurs just before the arrival of wasps. In years when the harvest does not meet our high standards, the decision is made not to produce, ensuring that only wines worthy of aging are bottled. The Company and Its Vineyards The vineyards, covering about ten hectares, are situated in the stony soils typical of the Friuli Grave area, along the eastern banks of the Malina stream. Located in the gentle countryside of Orzano, near Remanzacco, between Udine and Cividale del Friuli, the estate combines a rich history with modern winemaking techniques. Founded in 1967 and fully renovated in 2007, the cellar began as a passion project of the current owner’s father, producing clean, genuine wines for family and friends. Today, the vineyard yields around 45,000 bottles annually. These wines are produced with patience, adhering to organic farming principles, using Guyot training, and managing the environment with minimal impact. The soil, composed of alluvial gravels from the ancient Malina stream, along with a particular microclimate featuring high thermal variations and constant ventilation from pre-Alpine valleys, contributes to the unique character of the grapes. Harvesting is done by hand, with the grapes left on the vine as long as possible to maximize nutrient concentration through slight drying.

IL RONCAL is a small estate of 20 hectares, terraced on Montebello Hill, in the heart of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, only 3 km away from the historical center of Cividale del Friuli (UNESCO site). Here Martina Moreale carries on the project of her husband Roberto, founder of the winery. Day after day, the diligent care of this land offers its best fruits, harvested to create high-quality wines. The estate of IL RONCAL is surrounded by an impressive landscape and by numerous vineyards, grown in a homogenous soil composition and with ideal climatic conditions. It is possible to find different varieties of wine, each presenting its own peculiarities and unique characteristics. Each distinctive feature results from the dedicated passion of our wine growers and from their technical expertise, which throughout the years has led to perfection. In Friulian (local language), the name “Roncal” means terraced estate on a hill; as a matter of fact, the “ronchi” are the hillsides dominating this striking landscape. The slopes of our vineyards, surrounding Montebello Hill, are favored by excellent sun exposure. Additionally, the marl-sandstone soil is ideal for grape cultivation. IL RONCAL harvest is intentionally postponed for the grapes to reach their full ripeness. The wine production continues then within the cellar, where traditional wine methods are followed. Tradition and modernity continue to coexist; for this reason, the sweet-smelling oak barrels, where the wines mature and the fragrances become full-blown, stand near the shiny cold steel basins.

Cantina Cantarutti, established in the late 1960s, is driven by the core values of Tradition, Authenticity, Innovation, and Excellence. Located in the scenic hills of Colli Orientali del Friuli, our estate spans 76 hectares, with 33 hectares of high-quality vineyards on the prestigious Rosazzo hills and 21 hectares in the Friuli Grave DOC zone. Historically, the hills surrounding the Abbey of Rosazzo have been known for producing wines of extraordinary quality, dating back to the 1400s. Wines from this region were in demand across borders and served at imperial tables as early as the 1500s. Today, Cantina Cantarutti continues this tradition, blending heritage with modern innovation to create exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of Friuli.

The Marina Danieli winery, located in Buttrio, Udine, sits at 130 meters above sea level within the picturesque Friuli Colli Orientali DOC zone. This family-owned estate, now in its fifth generation, takes pride in its commitment to sustainability, certified by the SQNPI. The vineyards benefit from a unique microclimate, protected by the Pre-Alps and ventilated by the nearby sea. With a focus on preserving the land for future generations, the estate uses environmentally conscious practices, such as lightweight glass bottles and natural cork.

Giacomo Orlando Winery is located in Prepotto, precisely in Craoretto, in the wine-growing area known as “Colli Orientali del Friuli”, close to Collio Goriziano and Slovenska Brda that partly shares the type of soil. Once only considered a suitable area for producing excellent white wines, today Colli Orientali del Friuli - and Prepotto itself - is always more recognized for its native and international red varieties. Giacomo is an Oenologist, who graduated in “Viticulture and Oenology” at the University of Udine, Giacomo has 18 years of experience in winemaking; previously as a cellarman and oenologist for excellence in the Friulian wine scene, obtaining several national and international awards. He uses “Vinicoltore” as a neologism that best represents who he is: the result of a life dedicated to research, work, and love for the land, a point of connection between wine culture and wine cultivation.

Villa Vitas began its journey in early 20th century Trieste as a wine trading company in the local Free Port. Romano Vitas's love for viticulture led him to acquire the Strassoldo estate in 1937, marking the beginning of the family's deep connection to winemaking. His dedication to restoring and improving the estate has been passed down through the generations, with his son, grandson, and great-grandson continuing to enhance the legacy of the family business. Today, the Vitas family, now in its fourth generation, oversees every aspect of the winemaking process—from production to marketing. The estate produces exceptional Friulian wines, combining ancient traditions with modern technology in the pursuit of excellence. The family’s commitment to quality has been passed down through the years, ensuring that each wine reflects the heritage and innovation of Villa Vitas.

Casali Aurelia is an agricultural company located in Friuli, established by the Filippi family, originally from Vicenza, who arrived in the region post-WWI. The family worked on the reclamation lands of lower Friuli and has since become renowned for producing high-quality wines. Casali Aurelia is dedicated to the meticulous transformation of its estate-grown grapes into premium wines that honor the Friulian tradition. The estate warmly welcomes visitors looking to experience and savor the excellence of its wine production firsthand.

Spolert Winery is a boutique winery in the heart of the Colli Orientali of Friuli, a winery born as the project of Riccardo Caliari, a young engineer wich goes alongside his interest and passion for wine culture and terroir. He works this land paying homage to the cultural heritage and the environment. Friuli Venezia Giulia is an area of noble wine making tradition and Riccardo is certain it will respond positively to the climate changes wich will affect the wine sector. In 2017, following the purchase, he renovated the structure of the winery itself along with a portion of the existing vineyards and currently the focus is on the native vines such as Ribolla Gialla, Friulano, Schioppettino Merlot and Refosco. Our goal is to create our wines with respect of environmental sustainability, a matter that we have always been involved in. Since July 2021 we have combined the production activity with hospitality in the winery.

Four hectares in 1922, this is our origin. With constant efforts, vine after vine, harvest after harvest, we are reaching the century of our company life. It dates back to 1922, when the family bought the Ipplis mansion along with the surrounding land, starting the on-farm activities with a differentiated production. After the initial run of Antonio, founder of the company, immediately after the Second World War, the son Marino takes the lead until the late '70s, when the whole family decided to devote himself exclusively to the production of wine. Today the company, which includes 47 hectares of vineyards, is firmly hold by two nephews, Luciano and Dario, who tenaciously ensure continuity of family tradition.
