5 Magical & wonderful. (Perry)My wife and I went on our trip to the Minardi Vineyard + pasta making‘masterclass’, towards the end of our 8 day visit to Rome. I mentioned this to put into context how magical it was to arrive at the Vineyard, and having left the hustle and bustle and pollution of Rome to a place peace and tranquility. The warmth of our welcome was thankfully matched by a sunny day. Nico, our chauffeur, translator, tour guide etc, was an outstanding young man who set the tone for the whole visit, and Anna-Marie who taught the masterclass was very informative and delightful. I believe everyone on the visit had an incredible time, aided of course by some great wine and a wonderful lunch with tremendous atmosphere and local music. We left feeling refreshed, mentally, emotionally and physically, if a little ’heady’, and a little regretful that we were returning to the ‘motorised’, bustling city. Most highly recommend and our sincerest thanks to Nico, Anna-Marie and of course Umberto for producing beautiful wines and maintaining the delightful Minardi vineyard.

5 Great vineyard experience Close to Rome (Saba)Wonderful afternoon out from Rome without having to go far! A great way to experience the Frascati region. We were greeted by our host, Sara who treated us to tour. Starting in the vineyard, through the winery and finally for a great tasting session in the cellars! Excellent hospitality! Great wine and super salami and cheese to go along. The tour was a private tour, was around 2.5 hours and Sara was wonderful. Highly recommended.

5 Excellent value for money! Brilliant activity to share with friends and family. Amazing Hosts! (Amanda)What a lovely day we had making pasta with an amazing Italian chef. The excellent Nicolo hosted us for the day and translated everything. His knowledge of the wine making process, the olive harvest and the surrounding area was superb. We were even serenaded whilst we ate our pasta lunch by Alfredo who owns the farm. He’s a very musical man! We arrived at 10.30 and didn’t leave until nearly 4pm. They all seemed to thoroughly enjoy sharing their beautiful place with us. Worth every penny

5 Perfect! (Isabelle)I spent 5 hours in this beautiful place, the chef was so great and gave us many tips! The guide was amazing, very caring and funny! In the end we bought wine and jam, they were so delicious. We had such a blast! The city is also beautiful, very charming, definitely worth it!

5 Winery and Pasta!! (Elizabeth )Absolutely loved Minardi winery! Transportation was very easy, and the hosts were fantastic. Paola was very fun to be around and helped us alongside the chef to create 3 different types of pasta. The meal we had with our homemade pasta was one of our favorites of our whole trip! The winery is small, and family owned, and you can tell in their product. We enjoyed the wine while Alfredo played guitar looking over the vineyard. 10/10!!

5 Great people, nice wines (Micha)The vineyard was in a beautiful location overlooking Rome. The people gave us a short tour of the grounds and production facilities then served us great wines paired with local cheeses and meats. Everyone was super nice and quick to answer our questions. An experience I would recommend to anyone.

5 Perfect Roman Afternoon (Justin)My girlfriend and I booked this winery visit towards the end of our most recent Roman vacation. We normally go to a winery or two when we are in Italy so we wanted to do something after experiencing some local wines at a dinner we had at a very well-known restaurant that works with a lot of small local wineries. Upon making the booking Giulia called me to see if we were able to come a little earlier than we had booked. We did as we had built a day like this into our schedule. And we couldn't have been happier we did. We arrived via Uber to the winery and we were greeted by a very cheery Giulia and a gorgeous and very friendly Achille (her dog). This place a must-do if you are looking for a day trip out of Rome. Its very close to the cute city of Frascati (also a great place to stop in). Merumalia is not only a beautiful winery, but a gorgeous resort, with some amazing picturesque views of the surrounding areas. Giulia is amazing. She is so lovely and such a great host. If you are super into wines, especially organic natural wines, she is an encyclopedia of information. We learned so much and came away with such a new appreciation for what these farmers and winemakers do. The wines were amazing. This area is more known for its whites, and they did not disappoint. They also make a delicious dessert wine and a tasty grappa. She brought out some local meats and cheeses and paired them with olive oil they also make on the grounds. 5 A picture perfect experience (Ortensia)While I was planning my trip to Italy, I knew I wanted to try out a wine tasting experience. I did a little research and came across azienda bio De Sanctis. Honestly I had no expectations. I wanted to do something fun with my boyfriend. This turned out to be the most beautiful, informative experience. Flavia greeted us and even though we were 20 mins late she was very accommodating. She walked us through the property, Her English is perfect. The tour took a good 35 mins. She was very thoral and answered all our questions. When the tour was over, she took us to a beautiful living space where we sampled the wines while pairing them with specific foods. It was an experience I will never forget and I'm sure will be hard to beat. Thank you

5 Unique experience (Elisa)A very pleasant experience, to do as a couple (as in our case), but also a very nice idea for a group activity. The experience began with a tour of the vineyards and an explanation of the history of the winery and the family (very interesting!). Afterwards we were able to sit down, taste the wines accompanied by some good background music and a nice aperitivo and, taking our time, we painted our wine boxes. Staff and owners were very kind and hospitable. Highly recommended!

5 Very pleasant and highly recommended (Federico)The Eredi dei Papi winery is located near Colonna, it is easy to reach with GPS and, above all, it is in a beautiful spot. Mostly family-run, the welcome is very courteous and down-to-earth. The people are all extremely knowledgeable: the tour of the winery is very interesting, our guide was Giulia, who was great, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. You can clearly perceive that this is a very serious company with a very modern approach aimed at maximizing quality by marrying it with tradition. The wine tasting is very well done and the wines are excellent. The products for sale are also interesting because they complement the wines with other local, always quality-oriented products. Recommended, I would go back.

4 A beautiful way to spend the day away from Rome, experiencing Italian culture firsthand (and with your hands in the dough!) (Natalia)Very nice activity. Everyone was very kind and very attentive, the pasta kneading with its explanation. The tour of the vineyard, the wine tasting (very generous). They also treated us to freshly harvested figs (a very nice touch). And someone came to sing at the end of the meal. A very nice plan whether you go alone or with company. The meal was very complete; besides the pasta we kneaded, they served more things.
