4 Val Della Rose (Silvia)This tasting experience was excellently presented by our informative host. The venue is beautiful - very grand and the wine making facilities are excellent. The wines themselves were a little disappointing - however this is down to personal taste and in no way detracted from the overall experience.

5 Ottima accoglienza e ottimo vino (simone)La visita ci è piaciuta molto e ci ha fatto molto piacere conoscere di persona chi produce questi vini con una sentita, profonda e ammirevole passione che intreccia la storia, la storia familiare e le tradizioni della terra che hanno scelto di coltivare. Da semplici fruitori possiamo dire che eravamo venuti a visitare il podere 414 perché eravamo rimasti molto sorpresi dalla bontà del loro Morellino, ma che siamo rimasti quasi senza parole per la sorpresa assaggiando altre qualità che non conoscevamo, come per esempio il Trebbiano Toscano e il Vino del Bersagliere Riserva. Un ringraziamento particolare alla signora Roberta che è stata un’ambasciatrice perfetta durante la nostra visita.

5 Amazing and Unique Selection (RAFFAELLA PAGANO e ANGELO MAMBRINI)We drive in and enjoy the delightful signs to the winery and the gorgeous views of the valley. Raffaella immediately appeared to welcome us with a tray of salamis and breads dipped in the olive oil that they also produce and then ushered us into the main room to explain the wines. She explained the entire catalog and we were saddened that we had only booked a package with 3. We selected the white Francescone, golden Viognier, and the signature Sangiovese; we also sampled the vermouth and the 2 dessert wines. All were absolutely superb, but the Viognier by itself justifies the trip. It is a white wine fermented with the skins and gains a delightful orange gold color with a flavor surprisingly similar to a red. We followed the tasting with a little walk around the vineyards (it was a windy November day so we cut that short). Our only issue was that we had booked last minute right before a convention and they had already packed up their card reader so we couldn't buy as many bottles as we wanted.

5 Amazing experience (Laura)The wine tasting at Rocca di montemassi was amazing! The Tour in the museum and around the winery guided by Riccardo was super interesting and fun. He answered all the questions we had and gave a really good insight in what makes winery so special! Afterwards we tried the different wines and had our charcuterie board. The quality of the wines and food was great. The only advice I can give to other guest: wear something to cover up your arms and legs - there are a lot of mosquitoes!

Il ragazzo (mi scuso ma di cui ora mi sfugge il nome) super gentile e simpatico ci ha descritto con passione tutte le procedure nella produzione del vino. Vino davvero buono, accompagnato da salumi e formaggi altrettanto buoni e di alta qualità. Non mi ero fatta aspettative ma assolutamente ha superato tutto quello che potevo aspettarmi. Merita veramente e soprattutto siamo stati sorpresi dalla passione e dalla cura dei dettagli della persona che ci ha accompagnato in questa esperienza! Consigliatissima
