5 Memorable Experience ()Our wine tasting experience was incredible. We learned so much about the grapes, the terrain, history and wine. Our guide was so knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed tasting wine with pairings. Everything about the experience was amazing from the first friendly greeting to the last wonderful sip of wine. It was a highlight for us.

2 Not our glass of wine (Federica)The experience was very cold and matter of fact, little interaction from the host. It’s impossible to taste 7 red wines with breadsticks and a few hazel nuts, the wines got drier and drier as we went. Host was uninterested so we wouldn’t do this again.

We even met the owner and tasted freshly pressed wine of the year ( unique experience). We visited the preparation and refining room. A very close by experience to wine making. 5 Awesome Experience (Denise)A family of 3 did a wine tour to Azienda Agricola Marrone with lunch and a tasting of 4 top Barolo wines. The wine tour in the cellar was brief and to the point with a little about the wine production proces and the present family running the business. There was time for questions. The lunch and wine tasting was indeed at a very high level. Well prepared dishes, great wines and a brief introduction to every part of the experience. The restaurant is located with the best view to the vineyards. We should point out that our hostess Maria was the best you could ever wish for. Shenreally contributed to the experience. Only drawback was that there were too little wine in the glasses

5 Superb tour and tasting (Elena)We were the only couple on this tour with Giada (and Jack the dog). Had a very enjoyable time, learning about La Raia’s production processes and principles, followed by tasting and snacks to go with. A lovely setting too. Would highly recommend.

5 Great history, meats, and wines!! ()It was so much fun learning about the history of the farm and seeing the farm animals!! It made learning about the wines and meats even more special!! Everything was extremely delicious!! I hope they start shipping to the USA soon!! I’ll definitely return when I come back to Italy!!

5 Great experience (Serena)I tasted three different wines, and I'm particularly drawn to Noah. This wine has a deep, intense red color that immediately evokes the idea of something rich and bold. On the nose, the aroma is soft and pleasant, like a caress: you sense the sweetness of ripe cherries mixed with a hint of spice, almost as if you were walking past a kitchen where delicious food is being prepared. It has a rich, enveloping flavor, with a lovely sensation of warmth. It's smooth but with a slight dry note (the tannins), which gives it structure without being too strong.

The cold cuts you provided were a thoughtful touch and added to the experience. We also greatly appreciated the time and care you took to show us around and share the story behind your wines. We purchased a few bottles to enjoy, and would have gladly taken many more with us if it were easier to bring them back to the U.S. Overall, it was a wonderful experience at a beautiful winery. 5 Excellent wines and beautiful surroundings (Danilo)The Amerio brothers gave us a wonderful experience with a lot of interesting information regarding making wine in their area and the process it self (the forest where the oak is grown makes a difference!), all set in really beautiful surroundings. We got the opportunity to taste 8 different well made wines paired with traditional dishes from Piedmont, and ended up buying 30 bottles (yes we really enjoyed them). We highly recommend a visit!

5 A hidden gem in Piedmont (Chiara)My wife and I stayed one night at Cantina Fontechiara and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with a charming family-run feel that made us feel right at home. The building has been beautifully renovated—modern where it counts but still retaining its rustic charm. The highlight of our stay was the wine tasting. It was both educational and engaging, with delicious local wines accompanied by generous and tasty snacks. In the morning, we were treated to a wonderful breakfast with fresh, high-quality products. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing wine country experience.

5 A visit to Il Vino e Le Rose in the Hills of Tortona. (Massimiliano)At the end of narrow winding road some 20 Km form Tortona you arrive a large mechanical gates that are the memory of the previous plans the owner had for the estate before other plans meant that the property and winery was allowed to to become over run. Il Vino e Le Rose is its resurrection lead by Massimiliano and his team. They are fulfilling the dream of producing high quality natural wines from reinvigorated local vine species particularly Timorasso and Cortesa. .We were impressed with their passion and the quality of their wines. They truly reflect the special soils of their hilltop.. We really enjoyed our visit it was unique.

5 Great Local Place (Fabrizio)Went here on our honeymoon with my wife. It’s a small family winery with lots of character. We did the picnic option, the owner showed us around, then led us up by car to the top of the hills to show us the picnic spot. He provided us with a bag of local foods, and a bottle of their wine, all of which was incredible. He left us to enjoy the picnic and wander the vineyards. Perfect experience if you’re looking for a quiet experience and experience the local culture.

5 Great experience (Margherita)We really enjoyed a tour in Pqlin wine tour. The view was stunning and the people at the winery very friendly. They even drove me a place where i could charge our electrive car, and while waiting for the charging, they took me back to the winery, so i was able to join our group. I can easily recommend the tour and the winery!
