Tenuta Castello di Razzano is a beautiful estate located in the Monferrato hills of Alfiano Natta, in the province of Asti, in the heart of Piedmont. The estate covers an area of approximately 60 hectares and includes a medieval castle dating back to the 13th century, a vineyard, an orchard, an olive grove, and a large wooded area. The history of Tenuta Castello di Razzano begins in the 13th century when the castle was built by the De Razzano family, a noble Piedmontese family of Lombard origin. Over the centuries, the estate changed hands several times until it was purchased by the current owners, the Bonomi Bolchini family, in 2003. The Bonomi Bolchini family, who have a long tradition of winemaking, have invested heavily in the estate, renovating the castle and the surrounding buildings, modernizing the winemaking facilities, and replanting the vineyards with local grape varieties such as Barbera, Grignolino, Freisa, Moscato, and Chardonnay. Today, Tenuta Castello di Razzano is one of the leading producers of high-quality wines in the Monferrato area. The estate produces a wide range of wines, including red, white, rosé, sweet, and sparkling wines, all of which reflect the unique terroir of the region. Monfrà was founded in 2016 by Sara Leila Castagnella and Paolo Cirio, two neo-vignerons who left behind careers in the arts to pursue a passion for viticulture. Founded in 1981 by Eleonora Limonci, Colle Manora Winery has since been transformed by its current owners, Giorgio Schön and Marina Orlandi Contucci. They brought a fresh vision to the winery more than a decade ago, implementing substantial changes such as planting new vineyards and modernizing the cellar facilities. Set in the historic wine region between Quargnento and Fubine, Colle Manora represents the harmonious combination of Italy’s signature values—quality, style, and passion. The estate spans 75 hectares, with 20 dedicated to vineyards that benefit from a favorable microclimate, bordered by acacia, oak, and wild cherry woods. Pastorello Vini is a winery dedicated to producing high-quality wines with a strong focus on sustainability. The Vellano family has been dealing with wine for at least four generations: from a document found in the municipal archives it appears that the great-grandfather Maurizio was already a wine broker back to 1867. Since then, from father to son, the love for wine and the land that produces it has been handed down, together with the production technique. Currently the company is managed by Maurizio Vellano, who has firmly wanted to continue this tradition, even in difficult times. Now that quality has become an essential element in an increasingly global market, Pierino Vellano continues his lifelong commitment with even more dedication and stubbornness, focusing on an offer that, in addition to the classic wines that are part of the local tradition, aims at satisfying the new requests of an increasingly demanding public. The winery has recently been modernized and is currently equipped for a production of 25,000 bottles, which are mainly distributed in Northern Italy and in some foreign countries.

Vicara is a winery located on the hills of Rosignano Monferrato in Piedmont, established in 1992 from the union of three families: Ravizza, Cassinis, and Visconti. The Ravizza family, active in the sector since 1904, managed the enological part, while the Cassinis family handled communication and international relations. The Visconti family, with a long agricultural history, coordinated the project, focusing on enhancing local wine varieties such as Barbera, Grignolino, and Freisa. Since 2022, the Visconti family has been independently leading Vicara, with Giuseppe and Emanuele Visconti at the helm. The winery, covering 70 hectares of which 33 are vineyards, is committed to organic production and environmental conservation. The Visconti family has a long agricultural tradition dating back to the 15th century and has distinguished itself through environmental reclamation projects, such as the one in the Po floodplain. The current goal is to consolidate the image of Monferrato wines as high-quality products, with a particular focus on Grignolino. Vicara relies on a specialized team of enologists and agronomists and the consultancy of SATA, investing in personnel training to ensure optimal vineyard and production management.

Castello di Gabiano, located in the Piedmont region of northwestern Italy, boasts a history that spans over a millennium. The estate covers 260 hectares, with 20 hectares dedicated to vineyards. Wine production at Gabiano is deeply rooted in tradition, with archives from the 13th century already documenting the quality of its grapes. The estate is home to one of Italy’s oldest and smallest DOCs, the Gabiano Reserve "A Matilde Giustiniani", made from the finest Barbera grapes grown in a historic vineyard established by Princess Matilde Giustiniani herself. Historical records dating back to the 8th century, including a document signed by Charlemagne, confirm the presence of the estate, then known as Cortem magnam nominam Gabianam. In 1164, the Holy Roman Emperor Frederick I granted the estate to Marquis Guglielmo II of Monferrato, and it remained a strategic and economic stronghold through the centuries, passing through various noble families. Today, the estate is managed by the Marquises Giacomo Cattaneo Adorno and his wife Emanuela, who are deeply committed to capturing the essence of the terroir in their wines.
