5 Excellent experience! (Diane)I bought this experience for my husband's birthday gift and it was great! We had a horse ride beforehand so booked the 2 together. I didn't realise that you then drive up the road to the wine tour and tasting as a separate experience as the photos showed the horses riding through the vineyards so maybe that needs to be clearer, HOWEVER, it was all a fantastic experience. The horses are Arabian, beautiful and well behaved, the stables and surrounding area impeccable and the tour leader very friendly and experienced! Alexandra at the Clos de Basella is amazing with her information and friendly approach and you can tell she truly loves her job which makes it even better! We learnt a lot about the wine, the process and the area! Can highly recommend it, both the horse riding and the wine tour/tasting!

4 Very friendly, good wines (STEFAN)When you are in front of the address you almost can't believe this is a cellar. It is a normal village house with a larger door. The installation is small, cosy. The owner and wine maker is a nice lady that explains in an attaching way how she became a wine maker. She has a small but nice selection of good wines in a price range going from 15 to 50 euros. The wines are quite different in taste from what you get usually in that region. We bought several bottles of her collection. We saw 2 nice restaurants in the village.

5 Fantastic tour in beautiful setting (Doina)This tour was very interesting. I really enjoyed all the videos showing the renovation of the current site. The care of the environment and encouragement of water saving and biodiversity was incredible. The wines were enjoyable too, so much so that we bought a box of the white we tried, Només, to take home with us. Highly recommended

4 Excellent (Zhirong)Nice winery with rare wines. Friendly and well spoken tour guide. Wine was an eye opener and taste exceptionally good. Free top up of snacks and wine, so eat and drink and chat to your hearts content. If stay at hotel nearby, free drop off for the whole experience.

5 Wonderful tour and tasting (Angela)Wonderful robust reds. Tasting is of ready to drink selections 2015- 2023 est, depend the variety. Patrick gave a great overview of the land and organic vineyard farming from the scenic terrace of the intown winery with local nibbles. Below the terrace burried in the hillside is the active fermenting etc. Finally we descended into the cellar. Lots of fun.

5 History, tradition and charm. (Per)Deep in Penedes country we find a winery with roots in the 16th century, where generations of winemakers have spent their lives working in the vineyards. Contemporary methods and modern science are now combined into the mix, producing among other wines a delicate Cava with historical roots. We enjoyed the tour around the winery, seeing the historical artifacts and hearing the perfect English of winemaker Xavier Vendrell. Well worth a visit.

5 The perfect wine tour (Byron)We visited the winery as part of our anniversary weekend and we couldn't have picked a better spot. We were taken on a tour of the property showing us the grounds, their growing method and expressing their absolute passion for the process. After which we were taken for a tasting of some incredible wines. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area.

4 Where Wine Meets Arquitecture and Art: A Harmonious Escape at Terra Remota (JUAN)Visiting Terra Remota is a multisensory journey where wine, art, and architecture converge in perfect harmony. The brutalist design of the winery, seamlessly integrated into the natural landscape, is just mind blowing and is clearly something to consider and enjoy when visiting. The fact that the wine tasting consisted of 9 wines, allowed me to grasp a borader idea of their wine vision—echoing the same care and precision seen in the building’s architectural lines. 5 An memorable introduction to Priorat wines (Simon)We spent a couple of wonderful hours at Sau Del Costa with Patrick, whose storytelling made the history and character of Priorat wines truly come alive. He’s a natural host - knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the region and its revival. The tasting was accompanied by delicious local bites, sweeping views, and some truly standout wines that showcase what makes Priorat special. A great balance of learning, laughter, and discovery. Wholeheartedly recommended.

4 Nice territory and good tasting (Iryna)Overall, the visit was ok. We arrived a bit late, so maybe we missed part of the full experience. The location and the area around the winery are beautiful and worth starting with more information about the history and the producer. The general presentation and the basement tour were good and interesting. The tasting part was fine in terms of content and the quality of the cava.

The vineyard is beautiful, our guide Andre(spoke perfect English) was educated in viticulture therefore he had a lot of knowledge paired with great humour, the wines were excellent and I specifically liked that they try to experiment with older techniques, and the picnic basket was next level ♥️♥️♥️ this was a 10/10, definitely planning to come back for more picnic and shopping

5 Lovely spot (Roger)Ĺuckily visited on a lovely december sunday. Very interesting dégustation from Loic. Some unusual wines. Not cheap but worth the euros. Picnic under the trees was delightful. Break méat cheese fruit in the mix. With 4 of us we could enjoy a magnum of white. Dog loved the whole setup

5 Very interesting, nice and fruitful visit at Cellers Capafons Osso (Mats)Francesc was an extremely enthusiastic and friendly host who told us all about regenerative cultivation of wine. The only disadvantage was that he does not speak english very well, so we had the whole visit in spanish and one of us had to translate everything for the others. The wine tasting was also very good and there are indeed some excellent wines coming from this winery. Francesc's pride of the brand, the history, the family and his parents is also significant. We are also impressed by the small size of this establishment, where Francesc and his wife actually does everything themselves.

5 Wonderful visit - not to be missed (G)An excellent 2-hour tour by one of the founder’s sons in a family run vineyard. We learnt about the history of the area and of the vineyard and its mansion, and also about the biodynamic methods used for production. The tour included the vats, cellars and the vineyards as well the tasting in an idyllic setting on a hill. Excellent value for money. Much better than its more glossy competitors.

The level of passion, care and attention to detail that the owners demonstrate is incredible. Along with the wines their commitment to sustainability has to be rewarded. 5 Excellent English Language Tour (Robert)James led our tour and did a fantastic job. He was very professional and very knowledgable, able to answer all of our questions. At other wineries, my wife, who is not a native English speaker, had difficulty understanding the Spanish accent. This was no problem with James, as his explanations were crisp and clear.. he also has a fascinating personal story about how he moved to the region. We tried several wines, and we both enjoyed the blends more than the single varietals. Having said that, my wife loves syrah, and Atavus has a single varietal syrah that she enjoyed. This came as a surprise, as other wineries reported inconsistent results with their syrah, and therefore only used it as a small component of their blends. The tasting room is very bright and full of light, with good views of the vineyards.

5 Unforgettable! ❤️ (Susanne)Honestly, the entire experience was stellar. I was on holidays with my mum and has been looking for something special - Atavus exceeded all my expectations. The tour guide was lovely and very patient (esp with my mum who is not speaking English nor Spanish but had even more questions ;), so lots of translations going on! The tasting itself felt effortless and truly relaxing in an ambience that is just breathtaking. You can feel that the entire team truly cares about their customers and making them feel welcome and giving them a truly unique experience in a magical setup.
