4 Very friendly, good wines (STEFAN)When you are in front of the address you almost can't believe this is a cellar. It is a normal village house with a larger door. The installation is small, cosy. The owner and wine maker is a nice lady that explains in an attaching way how she became a wine maker. She has a small but nice selection of good wines in a price range going from 15 to 50 euros. The wines are quite different in taste from what you get usually in that region. We bought several bottles of her collection. We saw 2 nice restaurants in the village.

4 Excellent (Zhirong)Nice winery with rare wines. Friendly and well spoken tour guide. Wine was an eye opener and taste exceptionally good. Free top up of snacks and wine, so eat and drink and chat to your hearts content. If stay at hotel nearby, free drop off for the whole experience.

5 Wonderful tasting (Angela)Jordi was gracious and very good about communicating with us about our winedering reservation. Weather did not permit vineyard tasting, but Jordi accomodated us at the winery. Jordi helped us with setting up shipping to US, which not all local places can do.

5 Wonderful tour and tasting (Angela)Wonderful robust reds. Tasting is of ready to drink selections 2015- 2023 est, depend the variety. Patrick gave a great overview of the land and organic vineyard farming from the scenic terrace of the intown winery with local nibbles. Below the terrace burried in the hillside is the active fermenting etc. Finally we descended into the cellar. Lots of fun.

5 The perfect wine tour (Byron)We visited the winery as part of our anniversary weekend and we couldn't have picked a better spot. We were taken on a tour of the property showing us the grounds, their growing method and expressing their absolute passion for the process. After which we were taken for a tasting of some incredible wines. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area.

5 An memorable introduction to Priorat wines (Simon)We spent a couple of wonderful hours at Sau Del Costa with Patrick, whose storytelling made the history and character of Priorat wines truly come alive. He’s a natural host - knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the region and its revival. The tasting was accompanied by delicious local bites, sweeping views, and some truly standout wines that showcase what makes Priorat special. A great balance of learning, laughter, and discovery. Wholeheartedly recommended.

5 Very interesting, nice and fruitful visit at Cellers Capafons Osso (Mats)Francesc was an extremely enthusiastic and friendly host who told us all about regenerative cultivation of wine. The only disadvantage was that he does not speak english very well, so we had the whole visit in spanish and one of us had to translate everything for the others. The wine tasting was also very good and there are indeed some excellent wines coming from this winery. Francesc's pride of the brand, the history, the family and his parents is also significant. We are also impressed by the small size of this establishment, where Francesc and his wife actually does everything themselves.

5 Excellent English Language Tour (Robert)James led our tour and did a fantastic job. He was very professional and very knowledgable, able to answer all of our questions. At other wineries, my wife, who is not a native English speaker, had difficulty understanding the Spanish accent. This was no problem with James, as his explanations were crisp and clear.. he also has a fascinating personal story about how he moved to the region. We tried several wines, and we both enjoyed the blends more than the single varietals. Having said that, my wife loves syrah, and Atavus has a single varietal syrah that she enjoyed. This came as a surprise, as other wineries reported inconsistent results with their syrah, and therefore only used it as a small component of their blends. The tasting room is very bright and full of light, with good views of the vineyards.

5 Unforgettable! ❤️ (Susanne)Honestly, the entire experience was stellar. I was on holidays with my mum and has been looking for something special - Atavus exceeded all my expectations. The tour guide was lovely and very patient (esp with my mum who is not speaking English nor Spanish but had even more questions ;), so lots of translations going on! The tasting itself felt effortless and truly relaxing in an ambience that is just breathtaking. You can feel that the entire team truly cares about their customers and making them feel welcome and giving them a truly unique experience in a magical setup.

5 experiència perfecte (Mònica )Molt bona experiència de tast de vins. Un lloc únic, tant per l’arquitectura com per la qualitat del vi i, sobretot, pel tracte humà. L’experiència comença amb la visita al celler, que és petit però molt especial: cada racó té encant i et permet descobrir les diferents maneres d’emmagatzemar el vi. A continuació, el tast de vins és excel·lent; cadascun té el seu caràcter i et convida a imaginar diferents moments per gaudir-lo. Els dissenys de les ampolles també hi aporten un valor afegit molt interessant. Per acabar, cal destacar la companyia: ha estat molt agradable fer la visita amb en Lluís. Ho recomanaríem al 100%.

2 Nothing special... (Natalia)While he was giving us the first tasting, right next to us there was a construction worker doing his job... The gentleman is Swedish, he knows how to speak Spanish quite well, although when there was a word he said that we didn't understand, I would ask him about it and the third time, he asked me if I was a Spanish teacher... Not a single word in Catalan. He didn't explain to us how you're supposed to drink wine, even though I asked him. He only knows about his wines. I thought that in a tasting they explain more or less how you're supposed to drink. 5 wine tastings, 5 sips, because that's what he poured you... For one of them, he poured one for himself and we had to wait 10 minutes until he finally realized we didn't have any. 5 sips in total, literally... I knew he wouldn't pour us half a glass, but to go from that to just a sip... the views are certainly profitable for him. The best part was the charcuterie board, everything was delicious. Although on the webpage, in the comments section, I put that a vegetarian was coming, he didn't see it, because he asked us if we were allergic to anything... but he did ask if we wanted more charcuterie (not wine, of course!) and we said yes, since I personally didn't eat cheese so the other vegetarian person could, and he gave us more. The whole tour was standing up, and the last room, where he suddenly does 3 wines super fast, in a tiny little room, inside the winery. Disappointed with the tasting, honestly...

5 Interesting introduction to the wines of Priorat (Valeria)This was our first experience at a wine tasting and we couldn't have chosen better. We visited this small winery in Gratallops and from the first moment we felt very comfortable thanks to the intimate and well-kept atmosphere. Patrick, the owner, conveyed his passion in a very enjoyable way, explaining the history of these wines and what makes them so special and unique. Being a very small group, just four people, the experience was very personalized and pleasant. We tried five very different wines and, even without prior knowledge, we could clearly appreciate their quality. It was a very enriching experience that allowed us to learn, enjoy, and further awaken our interest in the world of wine. We leave very grateful and eager to do it again. Without a doubt, a totally recommendable experience.

5 The experience was spectacular (Joan)We decided on the barrel tasting, and the result was a success. We were with Arianna. Her service was excellent. We started by seeing the vines in the vineyard, then the whole harvest process, the facilities, until we reached the barrel cellar, a spectacular area. The barrel tasting was an experience that positively surprised us. We continued to the dining area, where we did the tasting of the selection of four wines with food. This is where Arianna continued to delight us with her advice and information. Her service was a ten out of ten.
