5 Friendly Welcome and Informative tour (Elizabeth)A happy afternoon learning about the varied wine making processes in Chateau de Luc. A good range of wines were made available for tasting as examples of these and we took away some Cru Boutenac to prolong the enjoyment in the remainder of our holiday. Fanny was a really excellent host - a warm, friendly and skilled linguist enthusiastically introducing us to the wines in their context - historical and contemporary.

5 Great wine tasting (Piet)Great wine tasting and also loved the tour, the hostess spoke english really well we were put with another group of people and i loved most of the wines. I had wished they had a more expensive tasting because i really wanted to taste the more expensive wine to see if i would buy one of those. But very great experience and very great hostess. 4 Trip in the wineyard and a great tasting (Bohlbro)We started with a walk in the wineyard and god a good knowledge of how this winemaker works making bio wine. Afterwards a great tasting of all there wines, telling the background of the production. We also tasted some gin and vermouth. A good wineyasting in english

5 Great experience, great wine (Maik)Thank you very much for your very kind hospitality and showing us all about your amazing wine work. The visit was very informative and interesting. The winery is very clean and structured. The winery and the tasting shop are in a contemporary renovated vintage building. It is situated on a plot of land that is very well-maintained on all sides. The wine itself is produced without artificial additives, fertilizers, or pesticides. You can really taste the difference! Excellent wine; even restaurateurs buy there. We were pleasantly surprised by the tour we booked. Even though we had booked during the peak holiday season, we were taken on a private tour with no other guests. The guide took a generous amount of time for us and our questions.

5 A lovely wine experience in Vingrau (Jacqueline)This was a great tasting for three of us. The lovely tasting room was ready when we arrived. We tried 7 different wines and got each one we were told it’s “story” and had appropriate accompaniments - cheese, charcuterie or chocolate!! The wines are delicious and so reasonably priced. I wish we could have bought more but no car! The best of all was our host who was so knowledgeable and hospitable. The whole experience was well worth the small fee. Thank you

3 Guinot wine tasting (Neil)Very informative tour. Only 4 of us. Wine samples were very small though, less than a shot of each wine. Had to stand up in reception for tasting and interrupted by other customers. Would have been far nicer sat down in the gardens giving full attention to us doing the sampling. Although we booked English tour, a lot of the video was in french only.

5 Fabulous tour - recommended (Claire)The tour of the facilities was in depth and up close. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and happy to answer anybody our questions. Finished with tasting the vineyards selection of wine. All for nice with good explanation on the process involved with each one Absolutely fantastic and fully recommend. We did not have confirmation back from the supplier that our booking had been confirmed before arriving but this was not a problem on the day.

The tour of the main building and garden with a beautiful view to the vinyards gave a good start to the programme. The presentation of the cave was detailed and informative, followed by tasting of the best wines of the Chateau. All this was carried out in friendly and professional atmosphere. Andy

5 A personal experiencie full of history (CONSTANZA)If you want to visit an authentic local vineyard with little industrial intervention, this is the place. Lucas is the owner of the vineyard and, although he might seem a bit reserved at first, once he starts sharing his story and dedication to wine, you can feel his passion for preserving the winemaking traditions of Gaillac. Since we were the only ones at the tasting, the experience was very personal and welcoming. He lets you taste each wine freely while sharing stories in a friendly exchange of knowledge. He’s a great host, very approachable, and makes you dive into Gaillac’s winemaking history through his own experience. And of course, the wines are excellent in both quality and price — we took 4 bottles home!

Our tour guide Fanny was super friendly and very knowledgeable and spoke very good English, which was a bonus. We had a tour of the Chateau and wine cellar and it was very interesting and full of history about the Chateau and the wine process. We then did the tasting and tried many wonderful wines along with a tasty Charcuterie board. Our guide Fanny went above and beyond to make our visit truly memorable. Thank you. I would highly recommend a visit to this beautiful place.

5 Beautiful place (Lorenzo)A great experience in a beautiful territory. The domaine is seamlessly connected with nature: vineyards, buildings, rivers and creeks, flamingos and horses. The cellar is new, very clean and interesting to visit; the other parts of the structures are undergoing renovation so they are going to be even better. We tasted 4 fine wines, extremely representative of the terroir, but they are also experimenting with different grapes and techniques. Overall a great morning!

2 Slightly Misleading (KRISTOPHER)We were under the impression that we would be getting a tour of a small vineyard which would take about 2 hours. There is no longer a vineyard, just out houses of old winery equipment and a guest house. It was more of a wine tasting of the 4 bottles of Red wine that they used to produce. The gentleman was a very polite and sweet man, made us feel very welcome and was obviously very passionate about the wine. The total experience was no longer than an hour. We enjoyed the wine and bought 3 bottles

3 There was no production (Santiago Jose)The visit was wonderful, Lucas the owner is an exceptional person, he treated us wonderfully; the pity is that they haven't produced wine for two years. We had booked the visit to the vineyards, winery and tasting, but we only did the tasting because the rest was not operational. We would have liked to know this beforehand because we would have looked for another alternative. We discussed many things with Lucas, but that's how it all stayed around a glass of wine, just like that!

5 Fantastic tour around Herbe Saint (Bohlbro)We had a fantastic tour around the estate. An impressive story about the history of how it was acquired, the development, and a tour of the production facilities with explanations of its successes and challenges. Many questions were answered, ending with a wonderful wine tasting. Domaine d’Herbe Saint is not only about their wines, it’s the whole package.
