5 Fabulous (Christine)This experience was a delight from start to finish ; our e-bike tour was a joy riding mostly on quiet roads around the local hills of Monferrato . Our guide was mindful of our safety while negotiating out of the town and spent time chatting with each of us as we cycled. The scenery was beautiful and as a frequent cyclist - not on an e- bike we loved the extra freedom that the e- bike gave making hills a breeze so that we could enjoy looking around. Back at Scarpa we had a very informative tour of the winery and the process followed by a beautifully presented wine tasting accompanied by a selection of cheeses and salami. We have ordered a case of Nebbiolo but to be honest choosing one favourite was not easy- the wines , even at lunchtime( not a usual time of day for me) were all delightful and the insight by our host was great.

She took the time to.explain the entire process and business to me and my daughter. I thought I knew sometthing about wine but never had it explained in such depth. The wines are amazing as a bonus. 5 Great experience (Giovanni)I tasted three different wines, and I'm particularly drawn to Noah. This wine has a deep, intense red color that immediately evokes the idea of something rich and bold. On the nose, the aroma is soft and pleasant, like a caress: you sense the sweetness of ripe cherries mixed with a hint of spice, almost as if you were walking past a kitchen where delicious food is being prepared. It has a rich, enveloping flavor, with a lovely sensation of warmth. It's smooth but with a slight dry note (the tannins), which gives it structure without being too strong.

Adriano is kind amd welcoming, he explained in detail all the process that he follows to create his organic wines. All the wine that we tasted were really good, especially the Bonarda Superiore e il Moscato.

5 Giancarla what a star! (Mattias)We got a private tour and tasting by winemaker Giancarla. During the tour of the vineyard we learned a lot about managing the grapevines, how the decide where to plant what type and how to protect the grapes. We tasted several very good vines together with a nice cheese and salami plate, and even got to discuss their new labels (and yes, the Ladybug wine will be a success!). We felt really well looked after and left with a lot of bottles of our new favourites.

5 Excellent wines and beautiful surroundings (Mattias)The Amerio brothers gave us a wonderful experience with a lot of interesting information regarding making wine in their area and the process it self (the forest where the oak is grown makes a difference!), all set in really beautiful surroundings. We got the opportunity to taste 8 different well made wines paired with traditional dishes from Piedmont, and ended up buying 30 bottles (yes we really enjoyed them). We highly recommend a visit!

It was easy to reach the place by car and the view from there was beautiful and it had a nice vibe:) We had a great tour guide and after the tour, we had amazing tasting session where she also helped us to choose the best options that we could have. 5 The best of the best (Tjardo)This was such a great experience! The views, the wines, the conversations. Everything was perfect! Everyone in our group absolutely loved it and we bought a lot of wine ;) Seriously a top recommendation if you are looking for something a bit smaller and more intimate than huge wineries and tours.
