5 Passionate winemaker (Joseph)My wife and I enjoyed a relaxed wine tasting, including 2 reserve reds, with Rocco the winemaker as our host. We enjoyed our walk in the vineyard and hearing about the family’s history on the land, as well as the organic commitment. Rocco is attentive to the traditional winemaking in the region, but given his international experience, he is making some wines that are new to the region. The light food pairing (small extra $ but so worth it!) with each wine was perfectly matched. I really enjoyed the architecture and design of the tasting room as well as the amazing view. It was a memorable afternoon during our stay in Ascoli Piceno.

5 Lovely family owned winery (Minke Anna)We had a great time at catina SeSì. The whole process from grape to wine was showed in the tour at this winery. We got to taste all the available wines and got explained how they were made, accompanied by a platter of small bites. It was a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend going here.

5 Excellent Verdicchio Tasting at Tenuta Mattei (Katarzyna)We had a wonderful private wine tasting experience at Tenuta Mattei, including a tour of the winery. Our host was incredibly kind, welcoming and knowledgeable, which made the whole visit very enjoyable. We tasted a fantastic selection of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi wines and, to our pleasant surprise, even tried more wines than were included in the package we had booked. Everything was presented in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The tasting was accompanied by a delicious selection of local snacks, which paired beautifully with the wines and gave us a real taste of the local traditions. A lovely, authentic experience that we would highly recommend. We left very happy and would definitely come back to Tenuta Mattei again!

This is a homey place not elegant or extravagant but makes for a nice afternoon in a simple way. The wine was good, the accompanying treats nice and I am glad we went.

We booked last minute and showed up early due to our travel schedule and had to use a translator app since we don’t speak Italian. 5 Delightful Evening (Chris)We spent a delightful evening with Maurizio and his family at the wine tasting last night. We got to try several different wines, white, red and sparkling along with antipasti from the region. (Romina was also able to provide gluten free options for the food which was much appreciated). We also found out a lot not only about the wine and how it is produced but also the history of the region. We would highly recommend this experience for a relaxed and pleasant evening in Le Marche.

5 Enjoyed and learned a lot (Paul)After a warm welcome we have overlooked the winefields and got a fine tour through the wineproduction section and olive production section with good explination. The tasting was with 8 olive oils, learned the right way to taste and with 4 different tasteful wines. We enjoyed it very much. Grazie mille.

5 Great! (Taryn)Super nice wine tasting and very helpful and friendly owner! We basically decided the night before that we wanted to do a tasting and booked through winedering, but due to the impeding bad weather and harvest that needed to be done, the timing was off. The owner, Rocco, contacted us immediately and fortunately it was possible to work out a better time. The tour itself was very nice and informative, and it was great to see a little of the vineyard. The tasting had a very wide selection of 8 wines, including orange wine (loved it!) and the olive oil was amazing as well. Would definitely recommend a tour with Rocco!

4 Tasteful experience (Marieke)Reception by the owner with a fresh and tasteful aperitivo, a glass of spumante. After that down to the cellar to see the silos in which the grapes mature. Danilo let us taste 3 stadium of wine making. Insightful. Then back upstairs to find a table with 5 glasses, water and gran pardano with bread. The wines were, to be completely honest, very good and totally different from each other. Danilo was a great host. Of course we bought some bottles of wine, took a few pictures of the vineyard with exceptional view and went on our way to visit the village. Great afternoon!

4 Great visit to Tenuta Mattei (Caroline)We had a great visit to this vineyard. Welcome was warm and friendly and we were able to sample a great selection of their wines, accompanied by a very generous selection of cheese, salami and bread. There is a restaurant on site where we could have had a full lunch but snacks had filled us up! Only dropped one star as we had requested a tour in English (4 of us English, my husband is Italian). The guide was only able to guide us in Italian so my husband had to act as interpreter which was fine but not very relaxing for him! Well worth a visit however and we will be back.

5 Great Wine Tasting Experience (Frederick & Susan)In August 2024 we did the tour and tasting at D'Erasmo Vini with our son and had an extraordinary experience. This year we had a friend visiting from the States and knew she would enjoy this winery - we were absolutely correct. The owner Gianluca met us in the parking lot and after greetings provided a nice tour of the vines and the production areas. Within the past year, they have made many beautiful improvements to the property to include dining and tasting areas, additional barrels, and apartments for overnight guests. They offer one peccorino, one rose, and one sangiovese, but all are superb. We bought a case of each as we did the year before. But in addition to the wine tasting is the local products provided with the tastings. It includes a variety of six cheeses, six meats, two types of breads with their homemade olive oil, Ascoli Piceno olives, a fried sweet custard (which was unique and very tasty), and homemade deserts. Most of the products were prepared by Gianluca's parents who were also present. Overall, they made it a lovely, welcoming afternoon.

5 Very Nice Family Winery (Frederick)We had a wonderful tasting of six wines and a lovely spread of local products. Our hostess was the co-owner. We had an option of indoor or outdoor seating for the tasting. The hostess was engaging and knowledgeable. She provided a history of the winery and the background on some of the wine names. The wines were very nice and priced well.

5 Just perfect (Rico)We had a wonderful afternoon. The passionate owner spoke at length about his winery and his wines. His wife spoiled us with delicious food and, of course, we tasted some wonderful wines. Later in the week, we had another delicious meal at a different location, nestled among the vines. It's not always available, but we were lucky.

4 A Good Experience (Soeren)We recommend a visit and tasting of Wine and olive oil. There is time for enjoying the wine and food, hearing about the wine yard and the production of both wine and olive oil and enjoying the beautiful place. We recommend the lemon oil - it tastes of real LEMON!

I learned about Le Marche local wines and really loved the rosso frizzante. The other people at our table were very friendly and a lot of fun. I only wish I spoke better Italian!

5 Tasty and relaxed (Dan)The wine shop is just inside the historic part of town. A knowledgeable host introduced us to their broad selection of wines. We chose our tastings and then sat nearby for a relaxed experience. The wines were quite unique and all of them enjoyable. Since the winery isn’t on-site, we spent more time just tasting the wines and visiting the interesting shop.. Worth a visit!

5 Lovely Experience (Owen)Me and my partner arrived and the family could not be more welcoming. The sons of the owner were learning English in school and could not be more accommodating when helping us understand things. I can not praise the wine enough, and it was complimented by a lovely cold meats board! The hosts were both informative and personable and made us feel instantly comfortable. We left with 2 bottles of wine and having had a lovely experience where we made special memories. Thankyou to the family what a lovely group of people and what a lovely home.

4 Great and delicious wine tasting cantina (Susan)We had a very nice visit with 4 persons to the cantina. We started with a tour where we could see all the machines, wine barrels and Mauro told us about the wine process! Very interesting! After the tour we started the tasting and we tasted 5 delicious wines including vino cotto! Mauro's wife made antipasti and cake. Excellent! I really can recommend this wine tasting! You can buy the wine afterwards for a really good (low) price! So we can also enjoy the wines in the Netherlands when we will be back from holiday.

5 Wonderful wine tasting in Le Marche (JENNIFER)My husband and I had a wonderful experience with our tasting at Terre San Ginesio. Maurizio showed us around the whole production facility and we learned so much about the local area. Along with delicious homemade treats from his wife, Romina, we tasted a variety of wines and the one of a kind vino cotto, a specialty of the area. All of the wines were of great quality and with a an affordable price-we we’re delighted to have found this local treasure.
