5 What a wonderful visit (Don’t have lunch beforehand!) (DOMENICO)What a great afternoon! We were looked after very well by Eugene with a clear/knowledgeable tour and then an excellent tasting. This included four wines and one grappa, with each served with appropriate food to bring out their character, and in a relaxed and unrushed style. Afterwards we also were directed to the shop to taste their olive oils and their extensive range of honey — also very good. Everyone seemed very enthusiastic and knowledgable and there was no pressure to purchase.

5 Excellent wine with great dinner plate (Giovanni)We had a great time trying the four wines. The server provided a lot of interesting information regarding everything around the growing of the grapes, the wine making process and taste. The food was also great and went extremely well with the wines. The Favazza winery has very modern tastefully picked interiors while being surrounded by ancient landscapes full of history. 5 October tour and tasting (ANDREA MARIA)My family and I had the best time trying different wines and olive oils. We learned so much about how everything is harvested, processed and what the different types of each taste like. The host was very friendly and informative and we even got to see the locals working on their own olive oil! I would highly recommend adding this stop in your journey, and if I’m ever in the area again I will gladly make another stop!

5 Lovely experience! (Hannah)Lots of delicious local food and great wines! It was one of our best wine (and food) tastings ever. Only, remember not to eat before coming.... it is really a lot! (Unfortunately we were not able to finish all of it and hopefully there is not a lot of food or drinks going to waste...).

5 Great day in Messina (Tenuta)We were on a cruise stop and this was the perfect way to spend the day. We were picked up right at the port, given a tour of the beautiful winery and enjoyed a delicious gourmet lunch which was accompanied by several different amazing wines. 5 Fabulous Day! (Sara )What a great experience my family and I had here! We were welcomed into the vineyard waiting area and offered drinks after our journey. Whilst waiting for the other members of the group, we were able to relax in the very comfortable seating area which was nice. We were then given a tour around the vineyard by a very knowledgeable lady (apologies, I forgot you name) who educated us in the different ways of growing grapes and the maintenance of the land. She answered every question we had, without hesitation. Then, it was on to the wine tasting which, again, was very informative. With each wine we were provided with a different type of food which was a lovely surprise as we were only expecting bread, cheese and cold meats! We enjoyed ourselves so much here and were not hurried whatsover, we were allowed the time to enjoy the breathtaking views from the great big windows! I would not hesitate in recommending Palmento Costanzo!

5 Amazing Experience in Antichi Vinai (Antichi)We were doing a cruise trip and decided to do wine tasting. We were 40 mins late (not proud of it) and worried that we won’t be accommodated. But Viviana was still welcoming and very understanding. We tried 3 types of wine – prosecco, white, and red. She also explained the history of Etna wines and their winery. We’ve learned a lot from her. We ended up purchasing 2 red wines. I recommend coming here. It was such a delightful experience. We’d do it again.

5 Fantastic (Gea)Our experience at Maugeri was nothing short of fantastic. The wines are stunning and the vineyards and accompanying views breathtaking. We were made to feel very welcome by our host Gea, who was very informative and served us a delicious pairing of cheese and charcuterie to go with Maugeri wines. The double rainbow we witnessed only served to cement this as a perfect wine tasting experience.
