5 Great wine, great food, great people (Menno)The experience we had at Rivale was one of the higlights of our honeymoon trip in Puglia. First we enjoyed a wonderful private tour and an explanation of the landscape and the products. Afterwards, we sat in a beautiful shady spot among the trees and enjoyed the most delicious lunch with great wine and olive oil tasting. For a moment you feel transported to a truly Unique place and get to experience the wonderful Italian food and wine culture. The people from Rivale were very kind and helpfull. We would higly recommend rivale to Everyone!

5 Lovely experience (Rachel)We had a wonderful time touring the vineyard with Marco. He was very friendly and spoke multiple languages; English quite well!! He was humble and knowledgeable. Their wines were fantastic and not too sweet which we loved. His wife prepares the food and the pairings were exceptional. Her focaccia with caramelized onions was out of this world-I’d actually love some right now!! Would definitely return and recommend to others. This was not your typical vineyard as their wines are organic, hand picked grapes with an at home feel.

5 Good family experience, great wines (Sylvia)We enjoyed a very thorough visit and explanation about how the wines are produced. (If you are not really into wines it can be even a little bit long). Come on an empty stomach - there is a lot of food - everything delicious. My favorite was the rosé! My husband and I shared the experience with our adult daughters and enjoyed it very much.

5 Beautiful place, beautiful people (Laurentiu)We had a wonderful time at Tenuta Santoro. Marco was a great host, engaging and with a sharp sense of humor. The food was very tasty (we had the Gurmand package for early dinner) and more than enough for a full meal. The wine was excellent and it worked really well with the food. To top it up, they have the cutest little dog we have ever seen. We loved the trip and the experience.

5 Winery Tour (Shankar)Excellent tour. The hostess, Miriam was very pleasant and extremely knowldgeable. Loved the atmosphere of the winery and learnt a lot of things about Primitivo wines and grapes that I didn't know. We were served with samples of White, Rose and Red wines at the end. My favourite was Mirea. Pity we couldn't take some bottels home - flight problems!!

5 Amazing Experience (KIYOMI)What a lovely tour! The guide was amazing, funny, and the tasting was also a 10/10 - sadly we had to miss the last course as we had to leave to meet our property owner at our accommodations so be warned, don't bank on the suggested length of time (and not a bad thing, we wanted to stay as long as we could!). I myself don't drink wine but the food was great, my Mom who does love wine walked away with 5 bottles for the trip and to bring home, safe to say she was a fan!

5 Fabulous!! (Julia)Incredible experience at Rivale. Loved the tour of the grounds and trying all of the items they grow themselves (cherries, almonds, apricots etc). Lunch was a fantastic spread with a gorgeous table setup under the trees. Everyone had to take some samples back home. 10/10 experience and special shoutout to Deborah, Giacomo and Bruna, the animals who made the experience so much more fun.

5 Five stars for Marco, his dog Spank and the food (Fleming)My girlfriend and I visited for an evening wine tasting and had a wonderful time. Only two of us turned up, so we ended up with a private tour by happy accident. What a stroke of luck. The whole experience was extremely informative. Marco made the evening fantastic. He is genuinely funny and switches between several languages with ease (we booked the tour in English and surprised us when he started speaking fluent German). He clearly knows his wines and he explains everything in a way that keeps you engaged from start to finish. We chose the €45 option, which comes with snacks, and the food was brilliant. We asked for a few more cheese options and he accommodated us happily, no fuss at all. We can't recommend it enough. Five stars, and we would absolutely do it again. Grazie anchora, Marco!

Therafter a tour in the winery and explaining how the wines are made. We tested 6 wines with accompaning food. All were excellent! Highly recommended.

5 Well recommended (Xinni)We were warmly welcomed by Chiara who had kindly reminded us about our booking beforehand and checked with us if we would want to continue should the weather be unfavorable. Fortunately on the actual day it was sunny. Chiara explained about the different wines and assisted us in choosing the wines we preferred. She also allowed us to choose other items for our picnic. We picked a rose, a red wine, a packet of tomato flavoured friselline, a jar of pickled zucchini, and a jar of red pepper pate. We were also given a packet of pucette (2x3 flavours). We only managed to finish the rose and the pucette, but they were delicious. We brought home the rest! Chiara was very friendly and had laid the picnic mat at a perfect spot to enjoy the view of the vineyard while being shielded from the sun. We had our own private space and it was atmospheric. A perfect way to slow down and enjoy Salento aperitif. It was a memorable 2 hours for us! With a car from Lecce, the journey was only 15 minutes from the city. But we felt like we were at the countryside, peaceful and scenic.
