5 Very nice and cozy experience (Ana Elena)We had a great experience at Podere Marcampo. The tour itself was quite short, but the wine tasting lasted much longer than we expected, and we got to try more wines than originally announced. The family was incredibly attentive and shared lots of interesting insights about the wines and the winemaking process. They also served delicious snacks and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the vineyard at our own pace. Highly recommended!

We had a selection of 5 wines following a detailed description. We had a white wine and four red wines. The food that accompanied the wine was divine. This was our first wine tasting experience, and for sure that our last.

Next we were treated to a wonderful tasting with 6 of their wines complimented with a beautiful charcuterie. It was a lovely experience and one I would highly recommend!

5 Wonderful experience (Walter)Claudia offers an intimate experience at the winery she owns and runs, showing us the fields, explaining how the grapes differ from one field to the next, taking us to see her aging room and finally offering us an insightful tasting with her wonderful wines and a fabulous charcuterie board. Special thanks go to her husband who somehow volunteered to pick us up at our hotel in Volterra and bring us to the agriturismo. Would love to go back and stay a few days with them.

5 Wonderful winery visit - a definite to-do while in Volterra (Siara)My partner and I booked this winery visit as a last-minute treat while in Volterra, and I'm so glad we did! Claudia was very kind and knowledgeable about the workings of Podere Marcampo, and the grounds are absolutely breath-taking. The wine was delicious, and we purchased a few of our favorites to enjoy back home. The food pairings were an excellent addition, and overall, the experience was one we have no reservations recommending!

5 Wonderful Wine Tour (Kate)We had the best time on the Vinyard tour and wine tasting experience and would recommend to anyone. It’s one of the most beautiful places we have been to and relaxed atmosphere. It was my mums 60th birthday and the tan did her a little print out to say happy birthday which was a lovely touch :) the wine was great and will definitely be buying some!

5 Very nice wine tasting (Michel)My girlfriend and I did the wine tasting in September. We first got a tour with explanation through the winery. After that we had the chance to taste 5 of their wines and had something to eat (bread, eggs, etc.). Since we are vegetarian we asked for snacks without meat, which the winery kindly prepared for us. The wines very tasty and we even bought some bottles. I can only suggest the tour! We could learn something, which was perfect because we are complete beginners in the wine world.

5 Great Experience (Kea)It was a great experience. First, we learned a bit about winemaking and were shown the cellar and the vineyards. Then we were able to taste 6 wines and were served cheese, cold cuts, olive oil, and bread to go with them. Isabella was great and also gave us tips for tasting the individual wines. The landscape and the view while tasting are also very picturesque!

5 Tasting with a friend (FRANCESCA)Summing it up in a single word: perfect. The place is wonderful, less than 10 minutes from Volterra with a view of the Volterra Balze. The wines, from rosé to white to red, are excellent, well paired with local products, and the owners are welcoming, kind, and professional. We are just left with the desire to return in another season to see different colors, perhaps staying overnight given the opportunity.
