The beautiful environment, best wines in the world (according to us) and lovely people ensure we will come back some day.

5 A beautiful place and a great experience (STEFANO)A really enjoyable experience. Everything was well organized and the atmosphere was welcoming. The location is particularly impressive, especially from an architectural point of view, with its beautiful use of rammed earth (pisé) and its connection to the surrounding landscape. A special thanks to our guide, who was incredibly kind and helpful. We also had some really interesting conversations with him, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit!

The tastings of the excellent wines were unhurried, in a nice setting and accompanied by enjoyable food. Most of all, the host was very friendly, informative, and with a welcome touch of humour.

They even helped push our rental car out of the Barolo mud on a rainy day!

5 Hidden Gem (Justin)This place was an amazing little fine. I always love finding small independent producers that I will rarely find back in the states and this place was truly that. Melissa and her gorgeous dog were the ultimate hostesses. They explain the region, the history of the grapes and the winery, great playlist, and the tasting was phenomenal. We ended up buying a case. Definitely a must do in La Morra.

5 Fabulous (Christine)This experience was a delight from start to finish ; our e-bike tour was a joy riding mostly on quiet roads around the local hills of Monferrato . Our guide was mindful of our safety while negotiating out of the town and spent time chatting with each of us as we cycled. The scenery was beautiful and as a frequent cyclist - not on an e- bike we loved the extra freedom that the e- bike gave making hills a breeze so that we could enjoy looking around. Back at Scarpa we had a very informative tour of the winery and the process followed by a beautifully presented wine tasting accompanied by a selection of cheeses and salami. We have ordered a case of Nebbiolo but to be honest choosing one favourite was not easy- the wines , even at lunchtime( not a usual time of day for me) were all delightful and the insight by our host was great.

5 Excellent tasting (Jon Andreas)We were a company of eight Norwegians, and we were very well received and served by Federica and Mirko. Excellent wines accompanied by cheese and salami - with a grand finale composed of cru barolo from La Serra, Cerequio and Monvigliero. Hipp hurra!

It was very interesting to hear how such a young winery has managed to establish itself—not just in Italy, but around the world. It is just a shame that Norway isn't currently a target market for their exports. A wonderful experience, and we would gladly return. Highly recommended!

The guided tour of the production site was fascinating, offering great insight into the winemaking process and the winery’s rich tradition. The wine tasting was the perfect finale, with a selection of truly delicious wines that showcased the quality and character of the region. We obviously took a couple of bottles home. A highly recommended visit for anyone who appreciates great wine and authentic hospitality.

5 Lo consiglio a chi vuole vivere un esperienza indimenticabile (Muriel )Siamo stati alla Teresa Soria Winery per festeggiare il compleanno di mia sorella ed è stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole. Era anche per me la prima volta in una cantina. Emanuele, è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile. Ci ha accompagnati nella visita della vigna e della cantina, raccontandoci con passione la storia della sua azienda di famiglia e spiegandoci il lavoro che c’è dietro ogni bottiglia.Ci ha racontato quando, come e perché quest’azienda è stata creata. È stato molto bello scoprire una cantina in cui il sapere e la passione vengono tramandati di generazione in generazione. Si percepisce il rispetto per la tradizione, unito alla capacità di innovare e adattarsi ai tempi e alle nuove tecniche senza perdere la propria identità. La degustazione è stata eccellente: ogni vino era accompagnato da un delizioso tagliere di salumi e formaggi di ottima qualità. Emanuele ci ha anche spiegato come abbinare ogni vino ai diversi sapori, rendendo l’esperienza ancora più interessante e coinvolgente. Avevamo prenotato la visita in inglese, ma quando Emanuele ha sentito che tra di noi parlavamo francese, si è adattato senza problemi e ha fatto tutta la degustazione in francese. È stato un gesto che abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo: ci siamo sentiti subito a nostro agio e l’esperienza è stata ancora più piacevole e personale. Ero con mio nipote di 10 anni e anche lui è stato coinvolto con una piccola attenzione dedicata a lui: mentre noi degustavamo i vini, gli è stato servito un succo di frutta ed un tagliere . Ne è stato felicissimo e questo ci ha fatto capire quanto ci tengano a far sentire ogni ospite, grande o piccolo, il benvenuto. Si percepiscono la passione, la cura e l’amore che questa famiglia mette nel proprio lavoro. È stata un’esperienza autentica che consiglio a chiunque voglia conoscere da vicino il mondo del vino e trascorrere qualche ora in un ambiente accogliente e genuino.

5 Amazing experience (Emily)From the moment we arrived at il Poggio, we were greeted by Francesca Poggio and her daughter Giorgia and it just got better by the minute. The two plus their wine maker were well spoken and extremely knowledgeable and it was very clear to see that they love what they do! Their wines were wonderful and as was the food. We had an enjoyable afternoon sitting amongst the vines. I would seriously recommend Il Poggio to anyone who loves Gavi wine.

5 Incredible (Angelica)This experience where absolutely fantastic! First of all, the booking was easy. We wrote a few emails back and forth with the vineyard and I felt well taken care of right from the start. When we arrived we where all amazed by the stunning view. It is truly breathtaking. Our guide Giulia, welcomed us with open arms. We started the tasting off with a delicious glass of white wine. Giulia told us about the history of the winery and it was really special. Afterwards we walked around the vineyard still with glass in hand. We had quite a few questions, in the group of 9 we had two gardeners and Giulia took her time to really answer all the questions. We finished the tour in the vineyard with a glass of rosè (also delicious) And after that we had the picnic. The food was fantastic. We had three bottles of red wine and we could stay as long as we wanted. I can't recommend this enough, We where all amazed by this entire experience. Everyone we met was super friendly and we all felt very welcomed.
