5 What a wonderful visit (Don’t have lunch beforehand!) (DOMENICO)What a great afternoon! We were looked after very well by Eugene with a clear/knowledgeable tour and then an excellent tasting. This included four wines and one grappa, with each served with appropriate food to bring out their character, and in a relaxed and unrushed style. Afterwards we also were directed to the shop to taste their olive oils and their extensive range of honey — also very good. Everyone seemed very enthusiastic and knowledgable and there was no pressure to purchase.

3 We expected a bit more (Anita )Thanks to Anita's very comprehensive and informative descriptions and explanations, we were able to gain a lot of insights into the production of biological wines, as well as the history of the cantina. However, we were a little disappointed that the walk through the vineyards wasn't more than taking a few steps away from the cantina. In addition, the brunch didn't really include very typical Sicilian dishes and the pasta course wasn't inspiring either. The cantina itself and the vineyards are very beautiful. On the whole, a very enjoyable experience

5 Simply Amazing (Andrea)From booking to finish our experience was amazing! The drive there is beautiful and easy. A small vineyard and winery with a wonderful story. Our hostess had a lot of great information for us, not only about the wine and winery but other amazing towns and experiences throughout Italy. The food was delicious, from the first to last course! The cook even did a special pasta dish for our daughter. Their wine is one of our favorites now and we can't wait to share with friends and family.

5 Wine testing was great experience ()Good tour in wineyard, opportunity test different wines, olive oil and good mix of cheese, salami, bread etc. Place was clean and very nice view outside. People are friendly and possibility to buy wines.

5 Excellent wine with great dinner plate (Giovanni)We had a great time trying the four wines. The server provided a lot of interesting information regarding everything around the growing of the grapes, the wine making process and taste. The food was also great and went extremely well with the wines. The Favazza winery has very modern tastefully picked interiors while being surrounded by ancient landscapes full of history. 5 What a treat!!!!!! (Salvatore)Yesterday, my best friend, partner in crime, and love of my life celebrated the last birthday in his 60s. Federico and Guiseppe made it a special day. We have had quite an amount of wine tastings in our lives, in South Africa, the Azores, Germany,....... But this one was very special: a bottle of white wine who came out of a water well , some toasts with olive oil and oregano we found in a ceramic can all over sudden under the olive trees, a "light lunch" which actually ended up to be loads of small typical Sicilian specialities...... tasting 6 different wines out of bottles and the last one from a wooden barrel. A walk around the vinyard and through the wine cellars, anecdotes, and meeting the whole family made our afternoon perfect. We learned a lot about winemaking in general, winemaking in this specific region, and about winemaking and producing olive oil with the tradition of Federicos and Guiseppes family. We bought some bottles of wine but fortunately forgot to buy the amazing olive oil.....so we have to go back.....

5 Amazing! (Giorgio)This is without question, the best wine tasting we have ever done. The location is stunning, the food is exceptional the staff are so lovely. I can’t fault it. It would also make the most perfect wedding venue. Make sure you go if you’re in Sicily. It’s an absolute gem!

5 October tour and tasting (ANDREA MARIA)My family and I had the best time trying different wines and olive oils. We learned so much about how everything is harvested, processed and what the different types of each taste like. The host was very friendly and informative and we even got to see the locals working on their own olive oil! I would highly recommend adding this stop in your journey, and if I’m ever in the area again I will gladly make another stop!

5 Nice experience (Silvana)We were welcomed by the owner of the winery and had a small tour of the vineyard where she explained how they harvest grapes and olives as Tenuta Bastonaca also do olive oil. We then had a lovely meal starting off with appetizers, ravioli, meat and dessert. All courses paired with wine from the Tenuta. The meals were very abundant and flavourful. All in all it was a very nice experience and we rate it a 10/10!
