A lovely brother and sister team run the vineyard and the family vibe made it very special. It was a rainy day and we were staying nearby so they arranged a pick up for a small fee which was great. 5 Cecchi Wine Tasting (Frank)Super nice experience within the Tuscany center at Famiglia Cecchi. Despite we were the only guests booked this slot, the welcome was super friendly. We got a tour through the production and harvest of Chianti was in full swing. Afterwards we could taste some white and red wine from their own production ranges in Tuscany area with bread and fantastic olive oil. We got some valuable information about the region, production and different wine quality ranges. All in all a nice experience within one of the most famous wine regions in the world.

(Sebastiano)Overall, the tour of the grounds and vineyard was super relaxing, had fantastic views, and gave us a great idea of all that goes into making a bottle of wine and balsamic vinegar. Our guide was fantastic as well. The wine tasting options were great, as well as the focaccia and balsamic vinegar. Would highly recommend! For the price point, in my honest opinion, the tour cannot be beat.

I just do not give 5 stars as the pasta was a bit disappointing: bit overcooked, not very moisty and I could not feel the truffle flavour… everything else was amazing. In a separate note, the wines and items in the shop are overpriced. I found the honey and truffle in another shop, tourist area that is normally more expensive… but still was 1/2 price. I believe if the prices were fair they would sell more as nobody was buying anything

5 Great experience! (Alessandro)We are very happy to have found tenuta l’Apparita ! A very small and independent wine producer with a special attention to his wine. We loved the Vigna and Cantina visit and of course the tasting itself. Francesca is very knowledgeable about the wine and the process and you can feel she cares a lot about the product and the Chianti territory. She proposed a tasting of the same wine but different vintage and it was really interesting to see how much the wine can change in one year only. We truly recommend to visit this small producer and to taste his excellent San Giovese wine.

5 Incredible experience, beautiful views, delicious wine, friendly service & we got a private tour ! (Jodi)We loved our time at Castello Sonnino! The wine tasting was sooo good - the wines were delicious and the servings were generous. We also got served lovely bruschetta - with their own olive oil and toppings - which were unexpected. The outside area is STUNNING and I recommend sitting out there. When we arrived it was only set up for us and one other table so we had a very calm, private, and special experience. Our server's knowledge and passion for their wines was obvious, and we felt very taken care of. Our wine tasting included a tour of the cellars and we we super lucky as we were the only booking - so we went on a private tour and got to learn so much about the history of the property (like centuries of history!!). Really enjoyed this place. The view was such a shift from being in Florence (where we came from). We also took a bus which was only around an hour long and a short walk from the location. Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone wanting a Tuscan wine experience and to see something different than the city. This day is one of our most loved memories from our trip.

Everything was explained to us really well and we got to go through all the finer details of how they operate and do the Vendemmia each year. The wine we tasted was beautiful, it is a really well balanced wine and is not like your typical Chianti Classico which we appreciated as it was really hot.
