Nestled in the hills of Piana degli Albanesi, a few kilometers from Palermo, the Agrirelais is a corner of Sicily intimately tied to its traditions. Elegant country house, it tells about the love for art of Count and Countess Paolo and Florence Marzotto, attentive owners whose hospitality is perceptible in the care of every detail.
With this sparkling Winedering experience you'll enjoy a 2 nights stay with special wine tasting moments.
You check in at the AgriRelais (available time from 2.30 pm) you arrive in your room. Tonight you'll have a welcome drink and a special welcome dinner at the restaurant of the AgriRelais including local dishes and wines of the Baglio di Pianetto.
On day 2 you have a full day on own with many activities suggested by the hotel. You may wat to visit the beautiful Piana degli Albanesi (3.5 miles), Monreale (12 miles) or Palermo (14 miles).
When you get back to the hotel, remember that you also have a special wine tasting experience included in the "Sparkling Winedering Escape"
You will be welcomed directly in the heart of the winery, discovering its vineyards and its cellar, with a path that, step by step, will reveal the secrets hidden behind the wine production processes, from the care of every single bunch of grapes to the packaging of the bottle.
At the end of the visit it will be possible to taste 4 different vintage labels of a wine chosen among Ficiligno, Timeo, Ramione, Shymer.

A mezz'ora da Palermo, immerso tra le...
Accoglienza degna del principe di Salina descritto nel romanzo di Tomasi di Lampedusa: e in effetti, camminando per gli eleganti saloni e rilassandoci nelle splendide stanze ci è sembrato di tornare indietro nel tempo, rivivendo i gattopardeschi fasti di fine '800.
In aggiunta abbiamo visitato la cantina ecosostenibile che accontenterà le esigenze dei più sofisticati wine lovers (Alessandro, il concierge, ci ha coinvolto nelle attività di vendemmia dell'uva!) cosi come la cucina siciliana proposta dal ristorante ci ha deliziato (noi abbiamo provato gli spaghetti alla bottarga e non ce ne siamo pentiti affatto).
Insomma, un weekend indimenticabile!
P.s. portare la crema solare per prendere il sole in piscina e una felpa per la sera, perché l'aria rinfresca parecchio
