The story of Adriano Winery begins in the 1960s when Aldo and Maddalena moved to San Rocco Seno d’Elvio in Alba, starting their first farm. At the beginning they cultivated cereals, fruit, had hazelnuts, raised Fassona and had vineyards where they sold grapes. In the 80s the agricultural sector entered a crisis, so 2 of their sons Marco and Vittorio together with their wives Luciana and Grazia decided to change the future of the company to have more chances. The company began to produce wine while maintaining the cultivation of hazelnuts and some woods for the search for truffles, up to the present day where the company boasts an area of ​​50 hectares, 30 of which are vineyards. The company is also self-sufficient from an energy point of view thanks to photovoltaic panels.

You're invited to visit the winery to fully understand what they do, the passion they put into it every day, to discover the beautiful valley of San Rocco Seno d’Elvio.
Usually the visits are made by the owners of the family: Vittorio, Grazia, Marco, Luciana, or even by the third generation: Michela, Elisa. If none of them are available it will be made by someone from the team who is very helpful and open to welcome you in the best way.

The experience begins with an explanation of the area around the winery (San Rocco Seno d’Elvio, the Barbaresco area); then it continues with the history of the family from the 1960s to the present day. And then you start the tour in the cellar by visiting all the stages of winemaking, going from the crushers, to the fermentation tanks, to the barrels for aging, the machines for bottling and the underground storage of the bottles.
In the underground room, you can also admire an art exhibition entitled '' Venus and Bacchus '' by Angela Policastro which completes their small museum of ancient farmer's objects.
Once the tour is over, you continue in the tasting room where all of their wines  are explained: you are then able to choose what to taste according to yout interest (5 wines on average)
